Good Luck.
There are two positions that you commonly see referred to as an adjuster.

The one you are probably most interested surrounded by is an "appraiser". These are the ones that just step around and write estimates on cars. The ones you most often see at the tow patio. These guys don't have to concordat with the public much. Mostly they accord with adjusters and body shops. One of the best ways is to procure to know the appraisers that come out to the tow yard. Ask them how they get into it and what the requirements are. These positions are very complicated to find. There is not a lot of turn over. If you hold technical experience a college amount is usually not required.

The other is an "adjuster". These are the ones that investigate the accident and determine liability. Some also write estimates. These matter with the public. Usually a 4 year college scope is required. The degree can be contained by anything. Usually the larger insurance companies have the most turn over here. Just procure your resume out. Also - when adjusters call the tow patio, ask them about the company they work for. Not adjectives insurance companies are created equal. Some are much better to work for than others.

Good Luck.

Medical insurance?

does medical insuance cover eye exams and eye doco visits for goggles too

Answers: Most medical insurance policies cover eye diseases and eye injuries. Some will cover annual eye exams, fitting to glasses and contact lenses, but masses will not. If you already have insurance, nickname the 800 number on your card to ask. If you are looking at various policies, ask the sale person what the policy covers. Also, find out what the copayment and deductibles are BEFORE you pick a policy. Some ppl pick a cheap policy and find out then that there is a $2000 deductible (meaning, the first $2000, you enjoy to pay yourself bc the insurance doesn't salary the first $2000). Cheap premium, but not good coverage. Some HMOs restrict you to one loved ones dr. who can refer you a limited catalogue of specialists (but you have to travel to that one family dr., you can't merely pick a dr. out of the phone book or one recommended by your family or friends). Again, find out these things in the past you pick a policy.
Most medical insurance does not cover vision piece. It is covered by a seperate vision insurance.
