I'm selling insurance..?
How do I call a prospect and right to be heard "Hey I wanna write your insurance". What is the appropriate lingo?Answers: "good afternoon my designation is .wait, lurk, ...don't hang up.
There are several approaches used by successful sales culture. They generally enjoy a script that is designed for the fastidious type of insurance that you are prospecting for and the demographics of the prospect. If you don't have scripts, later trial and error will get you where on earth you want to go if you hold tenacity. Most insurance telemarketers burn out in short writ. The decline rate is very elevated.
If you are new to sale, read some good books on selling. It will settle huge dividends in the long run.
I enjoy been selling for a few years and started from score, meaning I have no experience in sale whatsoever.
The rule of thumb is if someone has already done it and it works after why reinvent the wheel. See if you can draw from a sales entity from a competing insurance company try to sale you insurance and journal the message. Large companies have scripts already written for that and it have been revised and researched and proven to work the best since they hold years of experience.
The trick is, once you acquire the customer interest, what should you do from there... this is where on earth a good spiced up sale experience comes in. But you will cram that from experience.
The more you do it the better you will get at it.
Selling insurance is probably one of the toughest things to provide, especially life insurance. That's why the commissions are so soaring.
