Car insurance??

if i cancel my vehicle insurace with proggresive but i simply had it for part of a set of a month will it be prorated or will i have to settle up the whole month worth??

Answers: Well, it will be SHORT rate, not pro-rated, and a cancellation allowance will also be charged. Progressive charges a cancellation charge, if you cancel your policy outside the renewal date.
Won't be worth it to you to cancell B4 the month cessation if you are still driving and need the coverage. If you are lately switching companies because you found a better deal, later why not wait and hold your new coverage open after your initial period is over.

Claims Rep Salary?

I am looking into a claims rep job for an insurance company that travels to disaster areas. A friend that works here told me I can make around 90k. Is this possible?

Answers: An independent catastrophic claims representative's returns can vary from remarkably little to extremely high. It is base on what type of claims you are certified to handle and if those types of claims crop up. If you are willing to travel extensively and return with certified for flood claims, 90k per year isn't unrealistic. You will, however, work your proverbial butt off to carry out that. If you don't want to work floods (and most claims people can`t bear flood) it probably won't happen unless at hand are major hurricanes, tornadoes or earthquake.
No.

That is NOT realistic. The ONLY channel you can make that much, is if we enjoy a catastrophic storm, and you work 120 hour weeks. Freelance work doesn't pay that capably.

Ask your friend to see his tax return for 2007.

And if you didn't make out, it's been a few years since we've have a catastrophic storm.
you can make that if we own another Katrina and you work for 4-5 months straight, 20 hrs a day 7 days a week. don't get hold of me wrong---catastrophic claims adjuster can make really apt money but it's a tough job. cause sure you can handle dealing next to people who own come through a disaster--it's much harder that it sounds. also, cat claims adjuster have a high-ranking burn-out rate.

Is it possible to enjoy medicare shile working beside regualr insurance?

My husband is of an age to retire, but doesn't plan to do so in the subsequent five or so years. We know that he should be eligible for medicare. Is it possible to have both medicare and his robustness insurance at work where the expense of his medical bills would be smaller quantity or non existent?

Answers: My parents worked past regular retirement age. Medicare be the primary insurer and the employer based insurance compensated the remainder.

It is good to hold employer insurance as long as you can because it generally pays for more things than Medicare does. Dental and Vision benefits, for example are not included within Medicare.

The Medicare Part D drug Plan has a big donut hole where on earth it doesn't pay anything towards the cost of prescription drugs. Employer base plans may have a maximum, but they don't stop covering your medication after only $2800 contained by drug costs. I have never see a Part D Plan that was close by as good as the employer base types. If I were you, I would not enroll within a Part D Plan unless the employer said they would not cover your drugs any more.

Keep all of the coverage you can unless you are surrounded by a low income bracket where Medicaid would back cover your costs on premiums and co-pays. Consider getting Medicare Supplemental insurance coverage to pay your deductibles and co-pays. These can really attach up.

Your medical bills will stay pretty low if you can do some or all of these things.
I will be eligible for Medicare contained by June, and have already received offer from Insurance companys that are there to compliment medicate.
My father-in-law have used both for years.
Yes- the medicare is usually primary, the other insurance is secondary. I doubt you'll procure away with the "non-existant" coverage, but the lower coverage can fill some gap in the medicare coverage.
