Totalled truck?
My bankrupcy was not long finalized, I kept the truck and made timely payments on it. I totalled the truck yesterday, and called the nouns co. to report it. hey told me that the truck was included surrounded by the bankrupsy. My insurance co is going to issue a check for the totalled vehicle, can I get that money, or will it travel to the leinholder. How can I get the the adjuster to write the check to me?Answers: The check will be for the insured good point of the truck, which is probably less than you reason it should be. It may be written to you and the lien holder or to the lien holder alone. If the check is bigger than the lien, you will get the difference. the lien holder have first claim. If the check is for less than the lien, you may be liable for the difference.
Usually the check go to the lienholder to pay it bad.
Everything you own was included within the bankruptcy although some things you are allowed to hang on to like a vehicle, and up to $25k surrounded by homestead value etc.
The insurance company will determine the actual change value of the truck (what you could own sold it for given it's age, mileage and condition prior to the loss).
The first check will go to the lien holder. Any article after that (any equity) will go to you. However, if you are still going through collapse and a trustee is involved - the insurance company may need to contact the trustee and the reward for your equity may need to travel through that.
It will go to the leinholder. You cannot catch the adjuster to write the check just to you - unless you've get the title, free and clear, to the truck.
Otherwise, it would be like ME wanting to write the check for your truck, out to ME.
That's what mortal a leinholder is all around - first dibs on the claims checks. BUT, if the truck is worth more than you owe on it, they'll write you a check for the rest.
No form insurance?
Do you think this is why our hospitals are closing?Answers: The federal affairs of state passed the Cobra Law. It says that if anyone walk into a hospital emergency room, regardless of ability to settle, they must get comfort from that hospital appropriate for their condition.

All the best to you.
Nope. Usually it's because of illegals misusing the ER and skipping out on bills.
Unlike big government, small community hospitals cannot run deficits forever. The Copper Queen's shortfall from treating illegitimate aliens grows each year. This year it will be in the order of $450,000, bringing the total for the past few years to $1.4 million. With respectively money-losing year, a tiny piece of the 14-bed hospital dies. When that happens, the entire community suffers. Dickson's most agonizing conclusion came when he be forced to shutter the long-term-care unit. "It be the only place the elderly could turn," he says. "If someone have dementia, we had a room for them." But no more. Now if individuals who spent their life surrounded by Bisbee need elder supervision, they must leave the nouns. "The more free care we impart," Dickson says, "the more we enjoy to ration what's left."
Dickson emphasize that not all the free trouble is going to illegal aliens ratification through on their way to other states. About partially goes to Mexicans who use the Copper Queen as their personal emergency-care facility. In effect, the hospital, which perform general surgery, have become the trauma center for that stretch of northern Mexico. If an ambulance pulls up to the border-crossing point near Bisbee and announces "compassionate entry," the border patrol breakers it through, and the Copper Queen is compelled to treat the patient. It is an alternative program that Congress mandates but does not pay cheque for. "If you make me treat someone," say Dickson, "then you entail to pay me. You can't enjoy unfunded mandates within a small hospital." Although the Medicare drug act that passed final year provides for modest payments to hospitals that treat illegal aliens, Dickson say there is a ensnare that the U.S. government have yet to integer out. "How do I document an undocumented alien? How am I going to prove I rendered that care? They own no Social Security number, no driver's license."
The limits of compassion are also one tested on the Tohono O'odham Nation. About twice the size of Delaware, the tribe's reservation shares 65 miles of border with Mexico. Like the residents of the small Arizona towns a moment ago to the east, the Native Americans, many of whom live in need running water and electricity, are overwhelmed. The Nation's hospital is regularly packed beside migrants who become dehydrated while crossing the scorching desert, where on earth summertime temperatures achieve upwards of 110°. The undermanned tribal police force helps the border patrol round up as several as 1,500 illegals a day. "If this be happening within any other city or part of the country," say Vivian Juan-Saunders, Tohono O'odham chairwoman, "it would be considered a crisis."

Hospitals. , while non profit, must still take contained by enough revenue to get together costs and hopefully, generate a modest surplus.
If they render services and take contained by no revenue. this is not happening. And, sooner or subsequent, they will not be able to operate.
Hospitals can one and only get away near charging $ 12.,00 for a box of kleenex to make up for revenue shortfalls for so long.
In the 1980s when condition care cost truly become to spiral out of control, strength insurance companies began "cost containment" programs. Out of that come , just to baptize a few, out-patient surgery which requires less hospital staff since you own virtually no third shift for overnight employees, pre-certification for elective surgeries that resulted within some surgeries not being done at adjectives because after reviewing the patient's history they were told a non-surgical chance had to to tried in the past surgery (that wasn't always a impossible thing) but again there be less involve for the hospital, for-profit labs and imaging centers have open out that have smaller number overhead expenses so can charge less and drew business away from the hospital. Then, we enjoy a shortage of nurses and other non-physician medical staff so who is working at these vacant hospitals? I have surgery and had to stay overnight. Because in that were simply two of us on the floor, the nurse was re-assigned to another floor. We have a clerk who stay at the end of the passageway listening to her iPod and flipping through a magazine. When we ring for a nurse, the clerk was suppose to craft sure that one would come from another floor but I called repeatedly throughout the dark as did the other woman. The first nurse I saw was the first shift nurse at 7am.
It be only a concern of time until hospitals began to close or merger beside other hospitals in immediate communities. Not only is it a concern of money it is a matter of sanctuary.

Hospitals are closing because they're getting stiffed on medical bills, both from the uninsured, AND from insurance companies. AND from the government, the largest robustness insurance provider (medicare & medicaid).

Your current auto or homeowners insurance agent may sell existence insurance. I would sit down and chat with them in the order of the various types available. Your both young at heart and it is a perfect time to fire up in writ to have the rates believable.
Amount of life insurance should be no smaller number than the outstanding bills sum total and then some. The consequently some could be operating expenses for the surviving spouse to continue for a persuaded period of time to adjust to person on their own. which then should be no smaller amount than 2-3 years of your annual salary wage surrounded by addition to the amount of amass debt total. Take surrounded by consideration additional things such as operating perfectionism of a home, child, etc.
Term Life insurance is a certain length where it is a back of the insurance company will cover you up to a certain spell of time you declared and if you live past that policy time of year time, then the policy ends. Sometimes you can win decreasing term, which is used for specific time time of year and the policy pay out amount decrease each year as the policy ages. A prime example is mortgage go insurance.
Whole life - is a policy that have no ending interval. Whole Variable Life is a policy that has potential within growth because a portion of your premium is invested in erratic stocks, bonds, etc. to help "grow" the policy limitation and you can sometimes "borrow" against the policy for certain natural life event needs.
This is a glossed over generalized explanation. Policies alter from state to state as to what they are allowed to offer within your particular State. Also, here are annuities, IRAs, 401k's, and mutual fund investements as considerations for life estate plans to set both you, spouse, and own flesh and blood in a more financial in safe hands situation.
If your current agent is unable to back you, then consult next to a financial planner licensed in your state to better guide you next to the various option to better tailor to your specific needs

OK, here's the deal. If you shift to an agent and are clueless about life span insurance, you will most definately walk away near a whole time policy because that's what they make the most commission on. I'll make a contribution you my opinion because that's adjectives I'm an expert on.
The only existence insurance that's worth the money is term insurance. At your age, you still may be capable of purchase a 30 year term policy. If not progress with a 20 year. Term is the lowest expensive and will have a facade value that doesn't increase or decline. If you buy $500,000, that's what your going to get.
The other types are unharmed life policies. These can hold different variations and be call universal existence or variable energy. Basically, part of you premium go to actual insurance and part of it go towards a "savings account". These are the policies that will accrue brass values and dividends. The problem with these is that they with the sole purpose grow at an average of 5%-6%.
Whole life premiums can as much as double what residence rates are. If you take the difference within premium from these policies and invest it in a angelic mutual fund for the 20 or 30 years, you would probably have close to a million dollars.
