Insurance Questions and Answers

Started insurance agency surrounded by Kentucky - call for accepted wisdom...?

I opened an independent insurance agency contained by Kentucky recently. I hired a licensed producer to aid me solicit auto, home & life insurance. I also hired a tele-marketer to call for leads for trial business.
With a limited budget, how could I attract more ancestors to call us for free insurance quotes? We represent the biggest and best insurance companies for auto, home and enthusiasm insurance.
Our rates are crazy-competitive for Kentucky residents...we just have need of to find a way (despite the cold weather) to find people to christen or email us for free quotes.
We are legally competent to quote insurance for any resident in Kentucky. We will own a website up and running in the subsequent few months...as soon as we find someone to help us create a solid site.
As for public relations, we haven't started any system yet. We know our stuff when it comes to insurance...a moment ago need planning to grow our client base soon.
Thanks for any ideas...

Answers: There's a pretty pious book out there almost marketing (in general) titled "Guerilla Marketing" by Jay Conrad Levinson or How to Drive Your Competition Crazy by Guy Kawasaki.

Both are pretty good and present you some pretty good design.

Call 1-8OO-WEINSURE. Ask for Patrick or Dick and tell them you want to check on their program. Pretty slick and it WILL label your phone ring.

Next - network. Join the Chamber, bring back out and about and everyone get a business card.

Try your local "want ad papers" approaching Thrifty Nickel or whatever. Run some ad in "the readers" - not display ad. CHEAP CAR INSURANCE and your phone number.

Join your agent association in your nouns - either PIA or Big I and stir to conventions or insurance Expos. Even go to events surrounded by other States. I have be going to the Insurance Expo in Atlanta for days gone by 10-12 years and ALWAYS come back beside SOMETHING!

Give everyone of your customers several of your cards. Write THEIR name on the support and have them hand over them to their friends and have their friends come to your department for for quotes. When they come in near the card, put the card in a box and every quarter, offer away a color TV or something nice. Take pictures of you giving the winner the remote control, sway the picture somewhere prominent and do the same entry over again.

I could go on and on - so, email me direct and I can do what I can to endow with yo usome more pointers.
I have one project, which I want to get rid of for about partly year to some insurance company or agent in the USA.

The project deal with product-selling support. It is an optional product-selling method.

Maybe you or your partners will be interested.

If you're waiting for folks to contact you . . .it's not going to work. You're going to have to run out there and drag them surrounded by. But you, also, are going to have to obtain out there, surrounded by addition to your producer, and produce business.

Pound the pavement contained by target neighborhoods. In my experience, "advertising" doesn't get GOOD accounts - merely the dregs.

What is the best/cheapest insurance for a new driver in az?

Answers: Typically, insurance rates will vary from State to State and can even vary by ZIPCODE! It also will depend on the type of car/truck, coverages, limits of liability, and driving record. Some companies run credit scores and MOST run a motor vehicle report and CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) report to see about undisclosed accident involvement.

The best thing to do is call a LOCAL independent agent. Don't go across town, or to some other city - look for someone CLOSE. Just look in the phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and you will find a professional licensed agent that will be able to help you solve your insurance problems, and give you rate comparisons of several different companies.

An independent insurance agent will normally have a dozen different companies and if he cannot help you, he should be networked with other local agents that can.

In my agency, we have companies that do NOT run a credit score and welcome drivers with "less than perfect" driving records and specialize in youthful operators!

Most of the replies on this site say "go to this on-line carrier or that on-line carrier or that 1-800 number" but I'm sure that when you do, you will find some impersonal computer user with a script to work from and you won't be able to talk with the same person every time you have a problem!

Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this helps!
There's no one size fits all cheapest, and there's no short cut to shopping around.

You'll have to call and get a bunch of quotes to see who's cheapest for YOU.

Is a Car Insurance Policy still contained by effect after the registered owner of a Car dies.?

and he was the individual person scheduled as the driver on he Policy.

Answers: In the US, the policy will continue until the expiration date unless in that was a spouse. Until that time the Estate is covered & the coup¨¦ is covered while doing estate business (like trying to sell the vehicle, etc). No spouse, no coverage beyond the next renewal date. If he died the hours of daylight before the expiration, the coverage expires on the later policy date whether the renewal was rewarded or not. If you look on the policy form it is near the run out (I think it is on the ultimate page under the see section).
Yes, because in direct to sell it, the executor is going to hold to let someone check drive it! The executor of the estate is automatically covered as a named insured while acting as the executor of the estate.

But they should add on themselves on as driver. Or whoever the primary driver is going to be, until the estate is settled.
