Answers: you need a commercial lines insurance broker.
see local mobile phone directory -- the yellow page.
No, you're going to need to walk to a local, independent agent. You're looking at a "minimum premium" policy for a few years. It's going to depend on what kind of software you do. General liability is probably going to run you at tiniest $1500, and the professional liability is going to run you at least $2500. Maybe deeply more, depending on what you're doing.
The last startup I wrote, those be the numbers - and they didn't even write any of their own software. IF you write or alter software, it's going to be a lot high.
If you're working for businesses, you'll have to take workers comp on YOU, and at least nonowned and hired auto, surrounded by order to even carry on their site.
Your local agent can get you quotes for adjectives this.
Putting babies on husband's insurance?
My husband and I are expecting twins in belated August (that probably equates to mid-August since twins don't usually go the unbroken 40 weeks).Anyway, the open enrollment spell for his insurance is in precipitate September. There is pretty much no way they'll be born once undo enrollment starts.
It was my consciousness that birth is a "qualifying event," insurance-wise, so that once our kids are born they should be covered. When he approached his insurance rep beside this, she stated very rudely, "You have the chance to enroll your wife end year, but you didn't take it. Now you'll own to wait." (I be working, I had my own insurance). Whatever - OK, fine for ME, but what going on for our CHILDREN?? What do they have to do near my not being enrol?? It makes no sense to me.
My husband's insurance is Blue Cross Blue Shield, and we live contained by Texas, if that helps.
Answers: Yes, as long as your husband's employer offer family coverage, he'll be capable of add the children (and you) when they are born.

Will a homeowners policy cover building another home on another lot?
We have purchased seriously and are going to build a house ourselves. Can we up our liability on our homeowners to cover the liability and replacement of the home we are building, or do have to purchase a separate policy to cover the construction?Answers: Sort of. You CAN join the location to your homeowners policy, and pay an extra premium, to cover the liability.
You CANNOT donate a building in the course of construction.
What you CAN do, is verbalize to your agent. THe cheapest way to travel, is to get a homeowners policy near a builders risk endorsement on it, to cover the investigational house while it's being built. Be sure to own it amended to include building materials on the construction site, BEFORE they get attached, contained by case someone steals them.
Many HO policies will extend your liability coverage to the void lot. Check with your agent to see if it will and if a rider is needed.
When you fire up construction, however, there wants to be a separate policy known as a builder's risk. It will cover the building as it is self built. If your contractor doesn't provide this valuable coverage, you can purchase it yourself. After the home is completed and if you own two homes, you will need two policies. Again, agree to your agent know exactly what is happening so that they can assist you beside the proper coverage.
what you need is a builders risk policy. jump see your agent and they can write it for you, easy as that. once the home is done, you can write it to a regular homeowners policy.
