I have a policy DP3 300 and this precipitation that recently hit calif have cause a trickle in the spinal column room. the room is half surrounded by a hillside (built into the hill) the water wound is all surrounded by the wall and came into the hearth rug. the adjuster told me I am not covered! !! Is that true? Is he just trying to find out of it? What can I do to make sure I receive my claim filled? should I ring up an atty? who? what a scam!

Answers: So, how did the water take there? It run down a hill? That's FLOOD. Yep, excluded.

Water destruction that WOULD be covered, would be, for example, a pipe that burst and flooded the inside of the house.

Outside water running contained by is flood - unless a tree hits the wall or roof and breaks through and that lets rainfall in. Groundwater is other flood. Sorry.

File under your flood policy, not your dwelling policy. Dwelling policies - and homeowners policies - never, ever cover flood. No passageway, no how.

What is a part trust ?

wanting to know what a unit trust is ??

Answers: A part trust is a fund made up of a number of different investments i.e. shares. A fund bureaucrat is responsible for the day to daytime investments i.e. buying and selling of the underlying shares with the aim of growing the expediency of the fund (or growing the income of the fund).

The unit trust is divided into segment - each call units. An investor purchases 'units' within the unit trust and the importance of the units fluctuates contained by line next to the changes surrounded by the value of the underlying funds.

Unit Trusts hold in the fundamental been converted to Open Ended Investment Companies over the end few years. Very similar in net up but with differences something like pricing and the names used within the legal structure.
it is an investment surrounded by which you purchase units, which is usually manage by trustees on behalf of the investors [although there is such a piece as self-managed]. Usually there is a bid/offer spread and if the investment perform well next that will lead to an increase surrounded by the fund value and the element price will increase accordingly.

oh the foundation for bid/offer spread is because you get charges and the charges are taken out of the difference between the bid and present price.sometimes you get different charging scales such as I don`t know the charges taken in the 1st year might be greater to pay for the setting up costs and afterwards lower after year one.or if it is a single premium investment i.e. a lump sum then thats a bit simpler....
