You cannot get a cover note without taking out insurance. If you get something that looks like a cover note without taking out insurance it is not any use to you as the police hardly ever now rely on the paper. By the time you are stopped they will know that you have no cover.
If you want to do this to get tax and drive illegally, don't. If you kill someone and it is discovered that you have no insurance, the judge will throw the book at you rightly. I think the penalities went up recently because this is such a bad thing to do. If you can't afford the insurance don't run a car.

HUMANA won't put all their plans up on the internet for anyone to browse. The EMPLOYER does that, and it's specifically THAT plan.
I work for Humana. He should hold received these when he signed up or at renewal when the group coverage renewed. He can do as the above contributor suggested at the Humana.com website or he can request the material from the human resource character (a) work or from the insurance agent who calls on the employer.
Failing adjectives that, their is a toll free customer service number on the back of his bias ID card. He can request the needed information directly sent to him. Be prepared for a long wait time since the first of the year is a vastly busy time for insurance customer service.
