What does a contingent payment clause mean?
Answers: It means, if the beneficiary is dead, then the contingent person gets the money.
In all due respect, the previous answer is what a contingent beneficiary is.
A contingent payment clause is used primarily in the construction industry and is also known as a "pay when paid" or "pay if paid" clause. They should be used very cautiously as it creates a nightmare for a supplier to know if and when they will be paid by their customer. A G00GLE search on "contingent payment clause" will give links to several sites that explain in detail what this is all about.
Where do I christen to report an Auto Insurance that doesn't want to clear?
My mom was involve contained by an auto accident, but she wasn't at error. Car #1 cause the Car #2 to lose control of the sports car and hit my mom's car #3. Now none of them want to reward. People told us to take them to court. At court they are asking us for AIG Insurance address. They said it's where on earth we'll get adjectives the information that has to do beside the car chance. I can't find that address. Can someone please help.Answers: The ONLY insurance company that have to pay your mom, lacking going to court, is HERS. NO ONE ELSE has a duty of virtuous faith towards your mom - she's not their client!
AIG is huge. They hold tons of addresses. But if you try to sue AIG, you're going to lose - they didn't hit your mom. She wishes to sue the guy that hit her - and the owner of that car. That's the ONLY personage that is liable for her damages. Then, IF they own insurance, their insurer will pay up, AFTER the arbiter tells them to.
She requests to get a copy of the police report, and she can grasp the name/address of car #2 from that, for the suit papers.
Insurance is regulated at the state even. Contact the state insurance commissioner's office. You should be working this through YOUR insurance company.
