foundation problems, the concrete slab may have cracked. She have already called her insurance company and they are sending a insurance adjuster out, Tuesday. But should she confirm what is cause the water first, until that time the adjuster comes out. She just wishes to deal near this as quick as possible,as to hold no delays on repairing this issue, because we are starting to win alot of rain out here.
Answers: You call for the agent. She's filed the claim.
If she have an HO3, she doesn't have to confirm what's cause the water.
But probable, this isn't going to be covered. Cracked slabs are not covered, if it cracks due to settling. Foundation problems due to settling, not covered. Ground water seep in, or a high-ranking water table, also, both not covered.
Unless she's get a pipe in her wall cracked and leak, I don't think there's going to be coverage ANYWAY.
honestly i dont construe there is a best style..let him buy and sell with it..if he think its something else he will let you know at that time in need seeing the problem its not something i could begin to diagnose..but a cracked slab beside water coming up thru it sounds close to a bunch of trouble she needs to do anything she can to prevent further damage. if it is a problem near the foundation, it may not be covered under policy. it really depends on whats cause it, but under her homeowners insurance contract she requirements to take steps to prevent further injury. she should be ok by having someone come out and look and tender her an estimate on repairs. she will be one step ahead when the adjuster comes out.
