I applied for health insurance and they put in the picture me it takes 2-4 weeks for approval. I want to know what happen in those weeks. I of late got an update that their reviewing the application. I don't own any pre-existing medical conditions.
Answers: The application will be sent to the company's underwriter for review. If you don't have any pre-existing conditions and answered no to adjectives the health question it should take smaller amount than two weeks. The only common sense for it to take longer is if the insurance company requirements medical records. They will request the library from you doctor and/or from the MIB. Getting the records from the doctor is what take so long. I've had doctors deferment up to 4 or 5 weeks answering the request.
Slow company. No, they aren't going to request medical records, unless you database any weird claims contained by the next six months.
The majority of that time, the app will lately be sitting on someone's desk waiting to be processed.
