Answers: I am not clear on you question but agree to me try, Group benefits should offer undo enrollment once per year. If you had a DI policy and consequently it expired you should have be able to sign up for it again during your companies annual depart enrollment. Usually when someone is out on DI the policy premiums are waived so when you returned posterior to work you should have be able to resume premium payments and the policy would enjoy remained in force. I would telephone call the DI carrier and ask them to explain what happen to your policy.

If the policy be expired, then that resources NO ONE has it any more. Or conceivably, it had a fixed number of benefit days, and you have exceeded them. Or perchance, it won't cover something that's already happened, more than once.
