I currently have a high-deductible personal form insurance plan. I work as an engineer for a small company (under 10 employees) and we're finally getting a group policy. I'm worried that if I be serious injured/ill, I would be unable to work and my robustness insurance would end.
Can I preserve my high-deductible personal plan (only costs $50/mo) so I know I always hold health insurance even if I quit my mission or am unable to work and still come together the group plan so I have a much lower deductible?
Answers: consult this site, I found it while browsing the internet. It is an auto and strength insurance company.
Some, but not all, insurance companies own a contractual clause that prohibits you from having multiple policies, and the ones that don't, will not "coordinate benefits". It's probably not going to be an an issue for you.
You are prudent to keep your individual form plan, if you can afford it, but, unless you choose an HSA compatible plan through work, you can not continue to bring in non-taxable contributions to your HSA account.

Well, you can hang on to it, but YOU don't get to pick which one is primary. Usually, the costs outweigh the benefits.
You should bargain to the agent that sold you the high deductible plan to look at the coverage limitations, to see if it's really going to "work" for you.
Sure , as long as you don't try and directory a claim under both plans at like peas in a pod time.

Do insurance companies insure for "inside" stealing or damages?
