yes you can and the good point is that it will be cheaper. i dont live in a "flood zone" any but i DO carry flood! frequent floods happen contained by none flood zones.a flood is not only a major flood. if you can afford it, carry it. the first time you need it, it will wages for itself! oh yeah, please be aware there is a 30 year waiting period for flood insurance to see in, unless it is a hot purchase or lender required, so if you want ti get it very soon!
