Average Cost of Homeowner's Insurance for a home..?

Answers:   Some companies (not many) require a CPCU to be within management.

It's like mad of work - and hard. So CPCU is not something that heaps people own.

But any type of education you can bring back to make yourself better will minister to you.

If you have not earn your Certificate in General Insurance (INS) and your Associates within Claims (AIC) - those are good places to start. They are a honourable bit easier than CPCU and a great starting point.

If your company allows -- get involved surrounded by your local claims association. You will make contacts at other companies and near vendors. If you are an officer - it give you a chance to get hold of some leadership experience.

Does any one work at a Auto ins. bureau?

I one-sidedly carry the AIC (associate contained by claims), ARM (risk management) AIM (management) and the SCLA (senior claim law associate) surrounded by addtion to the CPCU. For practical technical awareness, in my view, the SCLA is superior. The AIC is an outstanding starting designation. The CPCU is best described as a "masters in insurance" within that it is very broad contained by the areas of study. The main assistance is that it is recognized by agents, claims those, underwriters, etc. as a mark of professional and ethical excellence. If you do not own the AIC or SCLA, I would personally complete them first. After that, the CPCU is to be sure a worthwhile choice, in my assessment. I wouldn't say wealth, but they're definately out there. You tend to see more CPCU's contained by commercial underwriting departments of the larger carrier.

It will definately give you a leg up over someone who doesn't hold it.
