GAP insurance assistance!?

In April 2008, I totaled my brand new sports car. So My insurance paid for their portion of the coup¨¦ which left just about seventeen hundred owing. Well after my GAP insurance put me through the ringer (I literally had to distribute the same documents 5 times), they finally said it would lift 20 additional days to determine if i be eligible. WTF? My car be totalled...they have everything that they neede from me...I am wondering if anyone else have the same problem? What can I do if they deny me?

Answers:   Well, if it's REAL insurance, you can folder a complaint with your state insurance commissioner. If it's a cranny plan, or other "non insurance" type deal you bought through the buyer, it isn't regulated, so you're SOL.
