INSURANCE plans for individuals?

Answers:   Most insurance companies require a 4 year college degree.

20+ years ago - you could be an adjuster beside just a soaring school diploma. But today..terrifically few companies will even talk to you if you don't hold a 4 year degree.

The merely exception to this -- is companies will often hire body shop manager w/o a degree to work as vehicle interrupt appraisers. In this case, their experience as a body shop supervisor or owner will be enough.

Or if you do not own a college degree but own years of experience working as an adjuster - companies will consider you.

But with no experience-- a 4 year level is a must.

Now.it does not matter what the amount is in. I own worked with theater majors, shindig majors, business, math, history...etc. If you are going to be working in injury claims - a biology, sports physiology, etc can be vastly helpful.

It's easiest to carry on with one of the big national carrier. Just start pounding the pavement and applying. If you know anyone in the paddock.give them a telephone. The big companies tend to have the most turn over.and consequently, are the easiest to get on near.

However, not all insurance companies are impossible to tell apart. So, if you get on near one of these big carriers and they are awful to work for (and some of them unquestionably are).. then stick it out for 2 years -- seize your experience and then try to catch on with a better company.

Once a company hires you...they will train you and they will procure you signed up for the licensing exam and any study you obligation. You don't have to enjoy the license in finance.

Being an adjuster is a hard chore. Not everyone is cut out for it. I think adjectives us adjuster are probably just rather bit off.

You work your fanny past its sell-by date..long hours- what ever it takes to return with the job done.for little to no gratefulness..catch a integral lot of grief and are generally stressed. If someone is conversation to you...it's because something rotten happened to them. - their coup¨¦ is wrecked, house is damage, spouse is hurt. They are going to lug it out on someone and you're it. But every now and consequently...something happens and you know why you do it.

Adjuster's don't do the livelihood for pats on the backbone. It's good retribution...but you'll never be rich. So, we don't do it for the money.

We do it because we want help. We want to serve. We want to be within when things are at their worst. Like I said, it's not for everyone.

You need to be organized, hold good customer service skills, be capable of think on your foot, think outside the box and solve problems. You will never be bored. You will other be challenged.

All surrounded by all.I love it and wouldn't do anything else.

Good Luck
