Basically I have a direct debit going through for my insurance on the 7th, but I won't hold any money in my tale. I would like to avoid incurring any charges so should i contact AA and ask them to debit my sketch a week later or should i only cancel the direct debit earlier it goes through. The individual problem is 7th is a saturday so is it going through tomorrow friday or on monday? Help please.
Answers: you usually have to hand over about 5 days spot to change the date of your direct debit next to a company in your casing it's the AA. so i think you'll be to delayed to do that if it's due out on the 7th. this is what i would do, go down to the wall and cancel the direct debit and consequently phone the company and explain what you did and why and ask for them to change the date for the direct debit which they should be thankful to do. make sure the foreign date is for all adjectives direct debits to.

The honest thing to do would be to contact them and explain. I presume it would go through on Monday as dd's are usually subsequent working day. If they throw out to defer the dd then I would stop it anyway as your bank would feasible charge you for rejecting payment, much resembling a bounced cheque. the only sure mode to avoid charges is to tell the wall to cancel the debit.
The AA will try and collect the monies at a after that date so ccall them and explain.

Just invalidate the direct debit right now, after claim it was a mistake. They will be more relieved that you arn't departing them.
