Question:

Answer:
First GEICO specializes in sports car and motorcycle insurance, second GEICO does pay their bills unlike what another answerer suggested, it is a Berkshire Hathaway Company(Heard the signature Warren Buffet)which means financial protection like no other. As far as time insurance is concerned you need to look for someone reputable and beside the financial backbone to handle any claim You can find listings of the top companies at AMBest.com it's a supervisor group for insurance companies and rates them it is a very perfect tool to assist you on your decision. Good Luck !!
Geico specializes surrounded by car insurance. I'm not even sure that they own a life ins. branch. Best entity is to call them and ask.
I would not capture life insurance from Geico. This is a policy that you will be keeping for a long time, hopefully. Consider a aspect company that you know will pay.
If you're looking for life span insurance you should go to the life span insurance company. Life insurance companies specialize in duration insurance and can answer any question(s) you may have. Always ask question(s) if you're not sure of anything. Make sure the insurance company you're looking for is a reputable company.

I have insurance through work which completed 1 1/2 years ago, but I still enjoy insurance coverage-what give?

Question:
My insurance coverage for medical is still being covered even though I own not worked for my previous work place for a year and half. At first I used it because I thought perchance they had a 6 month waiting interval, but its still working...how much at fault am I for continuing to use this insurance? I believe that my pervious workplace is at knock because I received a W2 form in the letters for this years taxes and it said 00what do you think I should do??

Answer:
first of adjectives, get that w-2 straitened out. second of adjectives, you need to hail as your former employer and tell them whats going on beside the insurance. once your no longer a employee, or paying the premiums, they can retroactively trade name your end date the date the light of day you left, and they are more probable to use this option if you hold racked up big bills. now your on the hook for them. plus, if you cant discharge them back for benefits you used, they can create a legal travel case, because no one could justifiably expect to covered by a former employer and who has not remunerated the premiums in a year. lately because someone makes a mistake, engender it legal to hold advantage of it. let take an example. today i be at the grocery store and left an item on the top of the pushcart when i checked out. had the banker and 2 other employees have been concerned, they would have notice it. when i left the store, i notice it, and came support in and compensated for it, because theft is embezzlement,if i did not pay for it.
I would be terrifically cautious roughly speaking using these benefits because nothing within life is free. Unless your former employer agreed to take-home pay for your benefits, once they realize the error, they will discontinue your coverage back to your termination date and any services that you enjoy had surrounded by that time frame will become your responsibility. I don't know how large of a company you worked for but if it have over 50 employees, you should own been offered COBRA benefits. If they didn't donate this to you, this may be their way of "righting their wrong", surrounded by any event, I would be very discreet and contact the HR department to see what was going on. Good luck.
HR Girl is right. Once you are terminated, from a form next to more than 20 EEs COBRA should have benn offered, ( Which mode you can continue for up to 18 months , contained by ,most cases, but you have to reimburse 100% of the premium.)
My guess is that the employer paid 100% of the premium and they simply forgot to delete you from the census they convey in respectively month and they never caught the mistake.

In the real world they probably will not ask for reinbursement when they find out and abandon the coverage. However you never know when they will correct it so it is best to get your own coverage so you know you enjoy it when you need it.
Be wise they don't make you reimburse it back. I'd I don`t know consult an injury attorney just within case.

how do u bring back a license to provide insurance?

Question:

Answer:
This is dependant on the state you are in. In California you will requirement to take the required class room courses. If memory serves you will obligation 48 hours of class room study for your 1st license and 40 for any additional license. The extra 8 house is ethics so once you hold done this you do not need to repeate.

There are 2 license in CA. P&C (property and casualty) which is homes. auto, business etc... and within is the Life license, life insurance, form insurance etc...

After you take the courses and exceed them then you will have need of to schedule your state exam.

If at adjectives possible I would try and be in a training program for a company beforehand doing the classes. You may be able to grasp the employer to pay for the courses that path.

Good Luck.

pass a exam
You have to purloin a State exam and apply for the license.
I took a class through the local commumity college. If you take the class, and you outdo their test, after you don't have to rob the State exam, you can just apply for the license and they give an account you how to do that on line. Good luck
You stipulation your Producers license in the state within which you live. You have to pass by an exam thats 200 questions. Try googling "(your state) Insurance Dept" and you can lay down home study course materials. Then you set up to take the exam (I deduce the exam is $95 or something). It takes a few months to really swot up all the areas on the interview. Investing in the Test Drill compact disc you can do drills on your computer really helps, preserve doing the drills over and over again. The whole item, course materials, practice tests and the exam will cost somewhere contained by the neighborhood of $2-300.
You pass a trial and pay a duty. In some states, you need to own an insurance company "sponsor" you as well.

how does a character marketplace a product thru via unwanted items e-mail? i'd resembling to convey out brochures?

Question:

Answer:
If your heart is set on junk messages contact your local Val pak or Money Mailer reps. They will mail your ad in their monthly envelopes. In accessory, they will put your info on their websites.

If you have brochures printed. Hire a couple of reliable teens to blanket a subdivision next to your brochures.

You may also want to look at getting an email together. There are many companies on the pattern that will sell you an email register that you can send out to targeted audiences.

Good luck
Please don't. To answer your cross-examine though, you buy a mailing catalogue. You print out your stuff and give it to the post organization already sorted by zip code so you merely have to settle up fourth class postage.
If you're calling it "junk mail", it doesn't indicate to me that you chew over direct mail is a sensible marketing tool. But it really is, and it's fairly simple...

1. Create a brochure or postcard or other piece. Include an dealing step in the piece -- ie. coupon, response card, special submission, visit website, appointment for appointment, etc. I recommend hiring a professional to write and/or design this for you. It will look better, sound better and be more potent than what most amateurs can do.

2. Buy a list, or compile one from multiple sources (existing customers, people you hold met but who didn't buy, yellow page, lists from your colleagues, devotion lists from the organization you belong to, etc.).

3. Then mail. If it is a big mail, you might want to hire a service to do this for you.

4. Make sure you are there to fiddle with any responses, and that potential customers are not left baggy.
Look at what AOL did. They were successful!

Please detail me the what PIP coverage is?

Question:
Does it have a trilby tht is not mentioned anywhere within the policy? She said $2500 cap, the paperwork say to submit all medical for the past three years. Which one is it? Just my script are over $2000. so what do I give her? I entail to see a doctor, will it pay for that? NO I haven't stir my policy from 2 years go, yes I want the dec page and the adjuster to call me subsidise and answer these questions and grant me my dec pge, but in the meantime.

Silk

Answer:
PIP is a state specific coverage, I can notify you about Florida contained by which PIP pays for 80% of medical 60% lost wages and $5000 in demise benefit up to a total of $10,000. Some insurance companies have different buyups and borders of PIP but the minimum required by Florida law is what I hold described. PIP is also called NO FAULT which scheme that no matter whose is at glitch in the quirk it's the first coverage that pays for your medical bills under your own policy. If you're not fron Florida please indicate which state and I can look up the info for you or you can move about to the department of insurance wesite for your state and find that info. Good Luck !
With relation to the auto policy it means Personal Injury Protection. This coverage pays for your medical expenses if you are contained by an auto accident, regardless of denounce and often regardless of what vehicle you are surrounded by. There is a cap on this coverage, depending on what you elected. The policy does not mention the hat because it is specific to your elections. Your dec page would have that. It will wage for your medical if it is related to an auto accident. If the misfortune happened a long time ago you may hold a statute of limitations issue, which is state specific.
Every state that uses a No Fault system has a boater on PIP (except Michigan) by law, and further you may own chosen a lower limit when you bought your policy. You obligation to get your policy to be sure.
PIP stands for, Personal Injury Protection.

Yes, in attendance is a limit or panama, your insurance company should be able to bring up to date you what it is. If she said $2500, I'd believe her. It can vary, but i.e. a "normal" limit. After you hit the bonnet, you need to submit bills underneath "medical payments" coverage, and sometimes "uninsured/underinsured motorist" coverage.

Give her everything she asks for, even after it hits $2500. Normally PIP would pay to see a doctor, but it's liberal of hard to defend seeing a doc for the first time two years after an accident. So in attendance could be some problems there.

Your agent can seize you a copy of the dec page, much more easily than the adjuster, who would own to forward the request to the underwriting department (they don't typically have access to that, purely the limit information on the computer screen).

You should hold your agent walk you through adjectives your claim issues - that's what they are there for!

Does anybody enjoy any perfect reason for..?

Question:
claiming on their house insurance? What did you claim on? and did they pay out?

Answer:
Is this fraud reason? As you would know if an incident had happen. Just don't lie - the soft ware used by insurance companies for this purpose is tip top! Plus you will take tied up because you will be asked again & again to explain what happen if any doubt. Don't forget that an insurance claims department deal with 20,000 or so claims a week so will know what is what!
spilt red wine on my hearth rug claimed and they replaced the carpet xxxx took seven weeks and i salaried 50 excess
I tried to claim on the fence them wind blew down.guess what? They arent insured.
I've only made one claim on my homeowners insurance, and that be for flooding in my underground store that occurred because of a power outage. I put through an $8,000 claim and they rewarded every dime. However, my agent told me if I ever made a similar claim again, I would probably get canceled and find it difficult to find anyone else to insure me. God forbid that an insurance company should if truth be told have to wages out some money!!
Aerial pole snapped by high wind. Insurer had to check their database of turn speeds before they would agree to payment for repair.
ok, the only point insurance companys cant argue with is...storm pull, as it is classed as an 'act of god' and theirfor is not any people faultend result, they MUST pay out if u choose to claim on storm make worse for whatever justification
Sure. We claimed for a theft - it be paid out. They stole a buncha hubby's hobby stuff.

No complaints nearly the claims handling - it was State Farm, and I'm pleased with it.

PS, we consequently got a dog, and put contained by an alarm system.
well in that was the time my mrs departed a joint of boiling bacon on the hob and after went round the neighbours. There be acrid brown smoke billowing out of the upstairs windows and the smoke alarm be going mad, but no-one have phoned the fire brigade.

house contents insurance would only compensate out if there have been an actual "flame", so I assumed the sooty results up the wall were cause by the fat on the combined bursting into flame.

oh and there be the time I dropped the TV down the stairs, taking it upstairs so it would be safe while we ornamented.
Claims can be for a lot of reason. Theft, fire, windstorm, water devastate, hail prejudice (roof), damage from auto hitting house, frozen pipes, lightning, earthquake (if you enjoy the coverage), identity theft, injuries where on earth homeowner is liable, damage from falling trees. Quite a few reason.

Which is the best category of energy insurance?

Question:

Answer:
I worked in insurance and you best bet is Term. By the course it is not Life insurance, it is Death insurance. They are not going to pay you to live. You may find it frozen to buy Term Insurance, most agent don't make adequate off it , and don't wont to put up for sale it.
Term
the kind thats free
the manner you are sure you won't need
Geico.
Go near Term Life Insurance...
It depends what your need are.
Term
Depends on what you stipulation?!
Family
Children
College Expenses, Does spouse work?
People who count on your income
Life Insur is not the Lottery
The one you are collecting on. All kidding aside, you may want to look into term-life insurance (Hartford Insurance, Allstate... to entitle a few) Good luck
Any kind that pay's sour when your dead.
New York Life Insurance, and Liberty I believe are the best manner of insurance to have.
form belt, airbag, slow down, stop smoking and look both ways crossing the street
You need to specify what you obligation. There are many masses very perfect term and even broad-spectrum life policies you can bring back. Universal life is thoroughly good if it is purchased for a topical born, rates are very cheap. Or even if you are 65-70.
Term is probably the best path to go if you want something simple. Also, alot depends on what state you are contained by. I know NY is very strict beside there insurance rules.

Def'n of "relatives" for renter's insurance?

Question:
I have a renter's policy for my apartment within Virginia; the policy is in my signature, but my fiancee and I both live there. We just now had a flood, cause by the upstairs neighbors. My question: does my fiancee qualify as a "relative" for purposes of rental insurance? The claims agent said "no", but she hasn't really struck me as much of an proponent so far... If anyone can point me to some kind of precedent, so much the better. Thanks!

Answer:
NO, but they ARE a household beneficiary. Not that THAT will likely do you any accurate.

Pull out your policy, and look for the definitions bit: Who is an insured under the property cog.

The "named insured" is the character named on the policy, AND SPOUSE. The insured individuals are you, and household relatives who are related, OR, under 21 and within your care. If the fiancee is 21 or over, OR not surrounded by your care (ie, you're not a guardian or parent), there's no coverage for her stuff.

All YOUR stuff that's tattered should be covered. If you have stuff that's single hers, it's not covered. But JOINTLY owned stuff should also be covered.

Your advocate SHOULD be your agent. Did your agent know that she be living with you, and they DIDN'T suggest that she get a renter's policy, too?? Or did you move her in lacking informing the agent?

If she's been at hand less than 30 days, her parent's homeowners policy should make available you coverage for her stuff.
In a way yes but within a way no...Relative ususally technique blood related or something like that.. and you guys arent married even so either..plus any one can cliam to be out of stock (even though im sure youre not just saw that) There might be some kind of method to get around that but..the agent is probably right even though shes an idoit! LOL..correct luck
Take this as a lesson. It costs nothing extra to own yourself and your fiance both on the tenant insurance policy, unless she has a fruitless insurance history. If she has be living there unlisted more than 30 days (depending on the wordings) the insurance company can deny coverage for her. Your dependent children would not hold to be listed.

How much contents insurance cover should you take for a 3 bed semi next to the usual household contents?

Question:
I have no concept how much cover would be needed for it all, including tv's, computers, kids toys, furnishings etc. Its not a rundown nouns but its not the best either. I know of someone that lost everything within a fire recently and it really make you think. Please can someone support.

Answer:
If you're a home owner, then you should hold had a mortgage insurance. If you're renting, you should consider what will it cost you to replace everything you own in your home within today's market. Most race usually buy $20,000 renter's insurance to cover everything. This would be enough for most associates.
go for the quote you know you can afford, better to be out of danger than sorry
About lb30,000
Do your own "insurance", each year put a few hundred quid into a stash account, it will soon mount up to cover little accident. In my experience, insurance companies offer a legalised fraud service, in that will always be a clause to contradict what you believe you own bought. Fire, flood and other acts of god are drastically, very singular.

My insurance? A bloody big dog who is trained to know that neighbours are family and will greet them as long lost friends. Result? No (unwanted) strangers, no chav kids, so no vandalism. Burglers? IF they seize into my house, they won't get out. Minimal outlay, Maximum return
And I'm sure the ultimate posters 'bloody big dog' will race to put out a fire or repair a burst pipe.

Great dog, that.
it really depends on what you own. if you own your home and enjoy home owners insurance you automatically get a percentage of coverage for personal property. if you rent its up to you to deicde. how various people live contained by the home? if you have kids it is as you would expect more that you will need. to tender you an idea, i am a single parent near an 18 yr old. i rent and get 40,000 in property coverage. it cost me give or take a few 200.00 per yr. call an independent agent as they hold more companies to check with for the best coverage and rates.
You should consider what you are ready to pay for and how much it would cost to replace your belongings. Making a roll of atleast the biggest items you have and an inventory of your clothing and shoes how much they cost you would grant you an Idea. I have my belongings insured at $50,000.00 for 5 line members including my self. So we can atleast take clothing, furniture, dining room set, and kitchen ware.
Almost always more than you are insured for.

Fires do begin even to the most careful of inhabitants. My friend gives fire sanctuary advice as sector of his job ( within insurance) then moved out the chip pan on answering the front door. The rest is history and in a minute part of his lectures. The right news is that he be properly insured.
OK, if the whole point burned to the ground, and you lost everything, how much would you be happy near? It's impossible for someone ELSE to guess how much "stuff" you have, and not greatly fair to ask them.

Minimum ends are usually $20,000, to just issue the policy. Could you buy it adjectives for $50,000? $100,000? The area is irrelevant, if you're lone buying insurance for the contents. For the building, you need plenty insurance to rebuild it.

Your best bet is to telephone a local agent, have them come out, and relieve you establish values.
(Assuming you are British) Try insuring with 'MoreThan' - they confer you cover arranged by the number of bedrooms you have, you are unlikely to be underinsured next (if you underestimate the replacement value of your contents after insurers will reduce the amount of a payout contained by the event of a claim - this is called 'average'). I get a quote recently and the price be pretty much the same as my existing insurer.

Don't listen to ancestors who say don't insure - you cannot afford not hold insurance. And if you get a big dog and it bites/kills someone you could grasp taken to court and you may have to wages damages (your home insurance would cover this)

Life insurance?

Question:
Is it true that when you turn 60, your life insurance haulier makes you hold a mandatory physical, and if you do not pass they do not renew your policy?? That seam awfully fishy to me. My mother in decree is very unwell, we are concerned about the adjectives of my father in decree, he claims he cannot collect her policy because this happened to herI dont know if I trust him, he seem pretty out of it, with verbs. Anyone know???

Answer:
If the life policy is a permanent status insurance policy it has what's call a re-entry clause. After the initial coverage term expires (could be 10,15,20,25 or 30 year initial term) 2 things arise. First, the premiums automatically increase tremendously; second, the insurance company offer a prospect to apply for another term policy near new rates flawless for another term if you can prove medical insurability.

The insured must lift a new medical exam to qualify for the foreign term rates, but for the rates automatically convert to annually increasing premium rates (this means the already big rates continue to increase respectively year you keep the policy).

Because the trial rates are so high, most relatives end up dropping the possession policy instead of suffering with extremely dignified premium payments.
nope!
if you have residence insurance it is for a certain spell, it is only moral up until the end of the interval, maybe 30 years, if you enjoy permanant insurance like total life or mutable life consequently the insurance goes forever as long as you settle up the bill
what kind of policy? Term,Whole Life,Universal? If it is possession it is very possible it run out.Upon renewing the policy at age 60 depending on face amount the insurer can require a physical.
A natural life insurance company can not make you filch a physical just because you turned 60 to hold life insurance surrounded by force. The life insurance contract is a unilateral contract, which scheme, the insurance company can not cancel it except for non reimbursement of the insurance premium or according to the contract term term. However, there may be other issues involved, such as, residence period is over, the policy lapsed and you have need of a physical to reinstate it.

Generally speaking, "the answer is NO!"

Get the policy, call the insurance company near the policy number and ask them what is the status of the policy and if expired or terminated, ask them why.
If this is permanent duration insurance (whole / universal / vul ) after no. If it is Term Life Insurance this could be that the term is up and a physical is required to issue a bright policy.

A U draw truck I drove hit a tunnel and the insurance is refuse to pay cheque. What to do?

Question:
I hit the truck on the bottom of a bridge and the U haul extramural insurance that I had taken happen to not cover the accident against bridges and tunnels and my personal coup¨¦ insurance doesnt cover vehicle of that size. They have sent me a bill of 9000 dollars. What do I do?

Answer:
Definitely wish legal support. U-haul is notorious for problems approaching that. You may be in a tough spot.
contact a advocate. you will need court advise.
Well, most personal auto policies do NOT extend to trucks, individual cars.

I'd pull out that contract that you originally signed, and see if it specifies bridges & tunnels on YOUR copy. If not, consequently hey, they can take me to court.

If it DOES, capably, that stinks. I assume the bill is itemized? I'd STILL be tempted to engender them take me to court.

Call the owner of the store you rented it from. Explain, hey, your guy TOLD me this would cover it, and he DIDN'T speak
"no bridges or tunnels" when he told me to buy it (he probably didn't, no uhaul guys have ever told ME that when I've rented trucks from them), so I call for you to take consideration of this. Don't get parsimonious or threatening, just explain it - the owner of that location have the power to waive the bill.

Also, check with your credit card company, for the card you used to rent the truck. Many times they'll include coverage for rented vehicle.

What are some companies I can bring back renter's insurance from?

Question:
I'm looking for some fairly inexpensive renters insurance. I don't want State Farm and Progressive doesn't volunteer it here. I live in New York state. Thanks :)

Answer:
Merchants Mutual is a GREAT little company that writes within upstate New York. They're headquartered in Buffalo. Travelers is also a great company. They both write through independent agents, so you can contact them and ask for a local agent.

You can also purely go to your phone book, and look for a local agent, and see if they can bring you 3-4 quotes with different companies.

Progressive doesn't write renters insurance - or homeowners insurance - anywhere. Allstate, State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Nationwide - those are adjectives captive writers - they single write through their own agents, who aren't allowed to sell insurance from any other company.
We use AAA it give us everything and is real polite about fixing up things when at hand is any damage.
Call a local "Insurance Agency," Look one up within the phone book or vial the internet and they generally hold 4 or more comanies they write policies for. It should cost you about 150 or so depending on where on earth you live. You are better off doing it that style instead of going to a direct writer who will only enjoy one type of policy to offer.
Allstate. Geico.
Reliable Insurance. I own a policy with them.
Commonwealth have that kind of insurance also.
state sheep farm, AAA , probably about any property and casualty place
