Does State Farm Insurance support illicit immigration?

Question:
America First Boycot

Answer:
Would you like to post actual details as to what prompted this ask or do you just dance around asking silly questions for kick?
I work for the opposition so as you would expect I will say "yes."

Though you may want to edit your question to more than the simple: "Does State Farm Insurance support illegal immigration? America First Boycot." Since it give no actuall details as to why you're asking the question.

Was at hand a news article you read which prompted the interrogate? Was it some personal experience at a State Farm agency? etc etc.

The answer is probably a "No" since most corporations look after their bottom line and tend to look to their own egoism when making any decisions.
Not that I'm aware of. I would regard as they would support and cater to the people who enjoy valid driver licenses.

Do I hold robustness insurance if my prexisting condition is not covered?

Question:
I'm 57 years old. My employer changed the type of form insurance we have from principal medical to suplemental. I quite get a new brief in 3 months I will own insurance but my high blood pressure , 220/100, and any article related to it will not be covered for 15 months.

Answer:
(This answer assumes you are a U.S. resident.)

When your previous group insurance coverages ended, you should enjoy received a "Certificate of Creditable Coverage" from each insurer through the messages. The certificates explain that you can use them as proof of your previous group insurance; your contemporary insurer must apply the number of months you were covered lower than your previous group plans against your current' plan's pre-existing condition exclusionary period. In other words, if your current plan have a 15-month pre-ex period and your two certificate show you were covered for 25 months, the pre-ex time of year under your bright plan is completely extinguished. This means the spanking new insurer MUST cover your pre-existing conditions.

One thing to maintain in mind: your previous group coverage cannot enjoy been lapsed more than 63 days until you signed up for the tentative employer's plan. The 3-month waiting period CANNOT be used against you when calculating the 63 days.

These protections are extended to you below the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Here's an authoritative web page that describes your HIPAA rights:

http://www.dol.gov/ebsa/faqs/faq_consume...

One final article: you wrote that your new plan impose a 15-month pre-ex period; I don't know whether this is a typo, but HIPAA with the sole purpose permits a 12-month pre-ex extent IF you enroll when you first become eligible. From your description, it sounds as if you did this. If this was not a typo, I'd suggest you contact the U.S.D.O.L. by clicking on the "Contact Us" connect at the bottom of the page I referred you to above.
You still have insurance of late not for anything related to your blood pressure. You will have to discharge out of pocket. Keep a total and mileage you can use it as a tax supposition next year if you can itimize.
no.
Psssttalk beside the insurance company.
Do you mean, you want to christen yourself uninsured because your policy won't cover the pre-existing condition??

Yes, you do have strength insurance, even if it excludes coverage for your high blood pressure.
You own coverage, but the insurance reserves the right to deny anything related to your blood pressure. Meaning, if God forbid, you break your leg - that'll be covered. You get pneumonia, that'll be covered. If you give somebody a lift blood pressure medication or need to be see once a week for blood pressure checks - those wont' be.

Cobra. It'll be very expensive though.
An affordable alternative to insurance is a medical discount plan. Basically, you discharge a low monthly fee and consequently receive extremely discounted ("cash") rates when you visit the doctor, dentist, chiropractor, psychiatrist, etc.

I work for a company that offer these plans, starting at $11.95 per individual per month, and not more than $59.95 per household per month. This is a great alternative, especially for people who enjoy pre-existing conditions, don't visit the doctor much but wage outrageous montly premiums, or have some conditions (i.e. mental illness) that isn't covered by their current insurance.

You can e-mail me if you would close to (Charlotte at c.krizman@sbcglobal.net). I can answer more questions for you or even seize you signed up. There is also a 30 day money hindmost guarantee if you decide the plan isn't right for you. Visit the relationship below for more information.

can a doctor charge insurance twice for same procedure and afterwards bill merciful for the drop by.?

Question:
Went to the doctor, entire visit added up to more or less 550.00. He billed my insurance first for cortisone injection at a total of 134.00 and got remunerated 91.00, month later he billed insurance for same procedure (only go one time to the doctor) at 1434.00 (same cortisone injection) and got remunerated 961.00. So he got over 1000.00 for a 550.00 look in and now have billed be for an additional 285.00. I don't reason I should have to payment this, but need to know who to contact to find out if I am liable for this transmittal. Any suggestions?

Answer:
keep documentation and report him.
chitchat to the insurance company
Contact your insurance company and make them aware of the situation and ask them where on earth you need to step from there. Insurance companies want to discharge as little as possible and if this Dr. is trying to commit fraud, you'll have no problem getting minister to from your insurance.
One doctor I see charges for a visit, after the building sends a bill for the office bid. I pay Dr. X-$50 & the organization building charges $20. Something new to me!

Your shield sounds different, the insurance company will like to hear from you on that.
no
Do not be too sudden to report for fraud. I am a medical biller for n group of ER physicians. I sent in a charge for $129, the ins co applied it to the deductible and I file an appeal on behalf of the pateint. When the insurance carrier get the appeal they entered the charge as $1029 instead of $129. $134 and $1434 are pretty close. Make sure the physician's organization didn't just transport in an appeal request because they judge the insurance company paid the claim incorrectly and consequently the insurance carrier enter the information into their system.

I would not pay anything until you have a word with both the physician's organization and find out why they billed the way they did - they may discover their own mistake and take home the correction. If you get no where on earth there afterwards go to your insurance shipper.

If you find that it is fraud, by all funds, reprot it.

Just remember, MOST physicians are not out to commit fraud and human error does occur. Give the benefit of the doubt BEFORE jump right into reporting for fraud.
Well, first contact the doctor's billing office. It could be an honest mistake. You hold to FIRST CONTEST the billing, and give them a arbitrary to fix it. If you don't contest it, you ARE liable for it.

If the doctor says you be there twice, or doesn't otherwise explain why he is billing one procedure two different times, later call your insurance company, and ask THEM why equal procedure has be billed and paid multiple times.

The road you've outlined it, it DOES sound similar to either an honest error, or medical billing fraud, surrounded by which case you'll requirement to contact your state insurance department, but the insurance company and the doctor's billing office are the first two call to make.
To add on to what saw & mb said - it's also possible that there's another patient near your same name that be seen the 2nd time and it go to your insurance by mistake.

Like they said - human error does occur, so start by have the doctor's office research it on their appendage first.

Medical insurance alternatives?

Question:
My situation is very complicated. My girlfriend of almost 3 years cohabitates beside me and we have a child. She cannot apply for RI state form insurance because of my income, and she cannot be placed under my company's strength plan unless I declare common-law wedding ceremony (It's honored in RI). However, I do not reckon it is a good theory to force myself into a common-law marriage commitment (meaning to be rightfully married... and I certainly don't want that right very soon, given our relationship at the moment) just so my girlfriend can return with insurance... but she really needs it. Is within anything else that she can apply for or do I have to bite the bullet?

Answer:
Proper vigour insurance is the best thing to enjoy in the US. While it is possible to gain a discount plan, it simply isn't the same brand of coverage, and it could put her (and potentially you) in some significant financial difficulties if she get ill.

So, any the relationship is important ample to you to protect your partner or it's not. I'd say that some serious soul-searching is required. If she's not worth insuring, this does not indicate a honourable relationship. As for a commitment, if the two of you share a child, you already have a life-long commitment as parents.
Check out carecredit.com.
It is not form insurance, but many physicians do adopt it as a form of payment. Care Credit pays the doctor and you pay envelope Care Credit in completely reasonable monthly payments. It's base on your credit, but you can have a co-signer. Check it out to see if nearby are enough physicians within your area who adopt it to make it worth applying.
Best of luck to you!
if she have the money, she can shop around for independent coverage. or she can hope nothing go wrong and get a medical discount card. or you can bite the bullet. its up to you.
You will hold to bite the bullet. If it's worth living with her, it's worth individual married. If it's not worth being married, you shouldn't be living next to her.

Cobra/ Health Insurance Question?

Question:
I plan to leave the small business (less consequently 10 employees) that I work for. I don't think that they are required to propose cobra- but can they? What other options are available? I live contained by VA and I have a chronic syndrome so an individual policy would be unaffordable.

Answer:
If you have vigour insurance currently you can take it beside you through cobra. Cobra doesnt actually enjoy anything to do with your employer, more to do near the insurance company. Basically you will be paying the full premium for the insurance plus 2% (admin fee). And if your employer was making any contributions to your form ins plan before you vanished be prepared for the price you pay to hop upwards.

The main piece though is to continue the coverage (not for the in full view reasons approaching what if i get sick) so that when you catch to a new charge and start up the benefits plan there, you won't take whacked with any pre-existing conditions waiting period.

In any event, you can use the COBRA for up to a year in most cases (sometimes longer).

Talk near your hr / benefits coordinator or worse case name your ins company custormer service number.

Good luck.
Check here;http://www.cobrainsurance.com/
Any employer can offer Cobra, because it doesn't cost them anything - the entire premium comes out of your pocket. Ask your HR personality (or whomever handles your benefits) nearly it, and if they're clueless, call contestant services at your plan and ask them how to apply for the Cobra coverage - they might have the paperwork to dispatch you.
i had that from one of job.they moved to mexico,it was totally exspencive.about 1200 big ones for 2 mon.reckon about that.
COBRA is expensive and is one and only temporary, at best - I mull over you can get it for up to 3 months. If you're not joining another business that have group coverage, you should check out the Virginia Office of Managed Care - they have an insurer of later resort (Blue Shield / Blue Cross), which must provide insurance to anyone. Contact the Office for more information or check out their website: http://www.scc.virginia.gov/division/boi...

Do insurance brokers construct their money from the insurance co or the associates who buy the insurance?

Question:

Answer:
Ok, when you're dealing with a brokerage, they typically hold several companies they deal next to. The brokerage has contracts beside these companies. When a premium is paid, the unbroken thing go to the company. The company and the brokerage has an agreement on Commission. The commission is compensated to the brokerage and then a percentage of explicitly usually cut to the actual broker who did the sale. this amount is fixed and agreed upon. Hope this make sense
Yes.

The clients buys the insurance from the company the broker recomends & the company pays him/her. Never make a pay paid to the being.
Ultimately, brokers and agents make money because those purchase coverage through them.

But payment of commission happen both ways. Some companies will only retribution commission to the broker once they have received settlement. Some companies only require the broker to distribute in the web premium.
Rocky, think of it approaching this. If you are buying a pair of jeans (insurance) You move about to a store (Insurance Broker) that has the jeans and may enjoy a variety of styles(types of insurance) from different companies. The store have a sales clerk (insurance agent) that sell you the jeans. The product itself comes from the various companies that invention the product (provide the insurance). So ultimately the agent and the broker both work on a commission that comes from the companies that they represent in their place of business. It is adjectives based on percentage (mark-up on the jeans) that are built into the price of the product (insurance). I hope that helps
It can be any. Sometimes they get compensated a commission from the insurance company, but sometimes they charge a "brokers fee" to the insured instead of taking commission from the insurance company.

If the client isn't paying a "brokers fee", they can be pretty sure the broker is getting commission (they don't work for free!) but you can ALWAYS ask your broker how they get compensated. That's a fair interview!

Most state insurance departments prohibit a broker from charging a brokers fee AND collecting commission from the owner, and if you do charge a brokers fee, you own to have the insured sign a brokers tax disclosure notice.

According to your circumstances, you can move to courts as you claim to have every proof to fastener down the bank.

Adding on that, I'd suggest that you also get that person who signed on the non-existance of such thesis personally liable and answerable. That would bestow him some jolt.

Hope, it help.
if you can prove you actually contacted the dune and asked for specific records on a specific date ie...e-mail reciepts, other expenses.its one for the lawyers
No
Absolutely. The hill will most likely pinch care of it for you since you enjoy proof that it was their error that terminated up costing you. If they refuse, tolerate them know they will be hearing from your attorney. I bet it won't enjoy to go that far, though.
You can ask, you may not receive.

Can I ask my wall for my out of pocket expenses due to their negligence?

Question:
I asked my bank for a specific document to avoid a court suitcase against me. They told me there wasn't one. 8 months then (1 week after the court case) they send the document to the courts.
Should/Can I ask the mound president for reimbursement? I have every tally.

Answer:
You can certainly ask! I doubt they'll do it. Then you can sue them, but you own to prove that they said it didn't exist. If they claim they told you it was not available, you lose the defence - because not available, and doesn't exist, are two different things - and it's LIKELY that what you wanted, the sort out had to suppoena, or you otherwise didn't own an open access right to hold it.
The bank is completely responsible to reimburse you and I would remove my explanation from that bank. I wouldn't do any more business beside them. They are not good to you, as a customer.
near a lot of unknowns something like your question but it couldn't hurt to ask only remember to be polite . a well placed sir or miss can travel a long way
fitting luck
Yes, if you can prove that you needed the documents by a certain date and they did not provide them.
