How much does public liability insurance cost?

Question:
Just for a new start up business providing a database of inforamtion via the internet, not a completely risky business really... i guess the biggest risk is i get sued for providing inacurate information. Help greatfully appreciated!

Answer:
Your not alone! In your pen and with the Technology of The Web their are frequent businesses using IT to to bring in the Bacon...IN FACT Many insurance market have researched and developed IT professional liability programs simply for you!

Depending on what type of Info "and" advertising you do the premium could oscillate . I just wrote a Professional Liability policy for a website business specializing surrounded by sports gear and "how to" educational topics on the sport they represent.

What you would entail in this covering is 'Media professional liability"/ This covers your Errors and Omissions on the info you are putting out there. The proof of this is .....

1. What are you offering
2. Do you have any contractual agreements next to any "Brand names?"
3. Do you enjoy any disclaimers on your web ( ie : for Informational purposes only" etc.
4. do you get rid of a product?

Things like that.

I would contact a Independent Agent who have Various Excess/surplus lines markets. ask them just about IT professional liability specifically Media professional.

The cost for my customer was $5,200 per year. (again..they be not only offering information but also selling a product.

GOOD LUCK!
Try an insurance broker.
my son is a plasterer and he have just salaried lb82.00 for his public liability insurance
Well, providing the wrong information that leads to an airplane crash and the passing of all passenger is kinda a big risk.

You're talking professional liability here - if it's medical, or used contained by any public way - specs for buildings, transportation etc, it's going to be really, really expensive - IF anyone is feeling like to cover it at all. Assume a minimum premium of $25,000. And also assume you're not possible to find anyone to give you coverage.

It's going to business a WAY LOT what kind of information it is, and what your certificate are to be providing it, and if you're looking for worldwide liability, or only for suits brought surrounded by one country.

Generally, "harmless" professional liability policies start at $2500.
http://bestinsuranceanswers.info... has some wearing clothes liability links, where you can procure some actual numbers for your particular industry.
Minimum Public Liability (PL) insurance now start at lb1M indemnity. This should be more than adequate for the business you're describing.

Contact a local broker for further warning and a quotation. Under lb100 sounds right for lb1M PL for a clerical business.
Hello,

If you are running this from your home, then I know of a broker that have a special scheme designed for population like you.

If you want the details, email me directly and I will pas them on.

Insurance for moving company.?

Question:
Hi!
I'm looking for an insurance for a small local moving company in MD. All trucks are rental. What insurance do i involve?
What is the min of insurance? Cost?
Thanks!

Answer:
Your Business plan is doomed to fail...sadly do to extreme overhead for renting the trucks. If you have a commercial auto policy very soon then you could possibly tag on Hire liability and physical damage coverage. Since taking out the ins from the rental company would be expensive and not cost successful as well as the actual rental cost.

Hiring Sub-contractors to do your work is another cost. Don;t rely on these guy's for a long possession solution. This is a good plan............

Buy a used Box truck. Get someone as a partner. Just the two of you and the Box truck. Start selling ( :TWO GUY"S AND A TRUCK)!!

Go to a bank beside a "smart " business plan and get a short permanent status business loan for the truck/advertising and overhead until you get going.

We hold a similar business in town that started this path and now they are State huge with 20 trucks!

Good Luck!
OK, what KIND of insurance? You can't draw for others for a fee, in need paying a PUC filing. So you won't be capable of do it with rental trucks.

You also call for cargo coverage, to cover their stuff - which starts at $2500. A moving truck insurance policy is probably going to cost you $6,000 a year for liability lone - IF all your drivers hold clean paperwork, and are over 25. You want liability coverage in defence someone sues you because they trip over a box you left out? That's another $2500 minimum.

Lastly, any team you have, EVEN relatives members, MUST be covered by workers comp within MD. It's VERY expensive - minimum premium $3,000 or 25% of payroll.

A local agent can get you REAL quotes, these are WAG guesses base on my experiences.

Insurance interview...I'm looking to buy short possession strength insurance, but I'm going to be away..........

Question:
from my permanent address for partly of the duration of that term. Should I put my unwavering zip code within or the area I'll be living for a couple of months? Thanks!

Answer:
You should other put your permanent closure, because if you have any claims, they will be sending you info long after you walk off your temporary residence. http://bestinsuranceanswers.info... have some pretty informative links for travel insurance.
The more important ask is.....Will there be hospitals and doctors who will adopt your insurance where you will be? If they are not going to adopt your health insurance, is it really worth purchasing it.
Instead of using ehealthinsurance to find your short permanent status as you stated in your previous cross-question you may want to contact an independent agent in your nouns. This person can answer these types of question for you and can also assist you once you have the policy while a computer can't. The premium for your policy through an agent is one and the same as through the computer so why not use them?

Some short term policies enjoy a per occurrence deductible and some enjoy a term deductible so engineer sure you get the right one. Some enjoy doctor networks where you can hide away money if you use them. Some are nationwide while other are local. An agent can report you these things and recommend a policy in a few minutes while it might lug you several hours to research this on the computer.
Use your permanent address to determine your rate, but be sure you are purchasing a plan that you can use any doctors so you don't enjoy PPO/Non-PPO issues if you need medical protection. I highly suggest that you contact an independent agent that can assist you.

Does anyone use eHealthInsurance for short occupancy coverage? Would you recommend it?

Question:

Answer:
Looks like "possession of a controlled substance short a prescription." Also stated as "possession of medication without a prescription".

Both of these are taken from the El Segundo Police Department public arrest transcript database. It seems to be most frequently applied to marijuana possession, and police contested cases of marijuana possession where on earth the arrestee is claiming medical marijuana status.
As far as I can see it is misdemeanor possession of medicine or marijuana in need a prescription.

LIC is private or it is still have fully govt cover Econ Times 13.02.06 may loose govt cover pls reply?

Question:

Answer:
Even if LIC goes private, what is your specific concern just about it? Stay prepared for anything happening on these fronts. These days you hold various option open to you, some even better than LIC, choose the one which serves your wishes the most.
LIC IS still the government individual no question of privatisation it is the best insurance company contained by India will highest income an policy holders.
untill the daytime LIC is a government owned company but as the main government is functioning beneath the pressure of multinationals,anybody should not feel shocked if he hear going on for LIC losing govt cover.actually insurance is a big souk and LIC was the lone player.under pressure of foreign players govt be compelled to open insurance sector and then or sooner we will see LIC under private running and this will a big loss to INDIAN public because LIC was providing duration insurance at a very low prices.
LIC is still a body corporate, created lower than an Act of Parliament. It is fully owned by the Central Government. For any dilution of equity, or offer of public sale of any part of the equity, to the public, an amendment to the Act is obligatory, and the Executive has no power to do so, bypassing the Parliament.
LIC is and will be below Govt. of India.
LIC is going to be private probably by next financial year.
It is a suitable news for the customers because, they can expect better coverage, returns, better service. Remember surrounded by case of BSNL, we are getting some what better service after privitation. It is the bad report for employees, because they hold to work in charge to stay in the flea market.
For the customers privitation is the best option for better service.
LIC is fully Govt. It will not loose Govt. cover. If cover is lost, it will not be LIC. It will be LI, Looly Insurance.

What is the difference between p/c license and personal lines license?

Question:
i'm trying to apply for a new insurance errand and one of the requirements states i need a p&c license, if i enjoy already a personal lines do i need to nick a test for the p/c? i though they be the same thing-HELP

Answer:
Yes, they are equal thing. P&C stands for property and casualty. Good Luck
There's no such article as a "personal lines" license. There are two types of insurance licenses (not counting investments here) - Life, calamity & health, OR property casualty. Personal lines is usually property casualty - homeowners, auto, boatowners, etc.
There are differences. Personal lines deal with auto and homeowners insurance. Property and casualty insurance (full license) deal with auto/homeowners/commercial/bai... etc. I hold a personal lines license contained by Florida and previously held a full P&C license in Arizona. For more information, check your state's webpage for insurance. You may enjoy to take the larger tryout to have the full p & c license, but, most insurance companies will discharge for that if you have the personal lines already.
Personal lines license should also work for p and c, only a duration and health license wouldn't work. However, nearby may be a few states in which a personal lines license does not help out... http://bestinsuranceanswers.info... has some willing links for prospective insurance brokers.
Their are many States within our great country that are similar in margin in regard to "Types" of licenses. The majority of them I believe own two types. Life/Health and P/C (property/Casualty. (2) exams.

I believe their are a few States like Florida and Texas that require a breakdown of Casualty exams and property exams by classes. However on this you may want to inquire to your dept of insurance. Personal lines is personal Auto/Homeowners/Boat/Motorcycl... etc. If you hold a P/C license like I hold then you can provide "both" personal and Business lines of insurance.

Please can i enjoy the name, preferably a connection, of okay specified insurance agencies?

Question:

Answer:
It depends what type of insurance you're after (home, travel, pet, life, vehicle etc.)

Try an insurance comparison site like Money Supermarket http://www.moneysupermarket.com/insuranc... and you'll acquire a list of the key insurers whose sites they check when getting you an online quote.

Here are some of the main ones they claim to cover below the link for their home insurance check...

* AA Insurance
* Barclays
* British Gas
* Budget
* Cornhill Direct
* Endsleigh
* Halifax
* Hiscox
* Key Connect
* KwikFit
* Liverpool Victoria
* Legal & General
* Lloyds TSB Insurance
* Marks & Spencer
* More Than
* NHI Services
* Norwich Union Direct
* Post Office
* Sainsbury's Bank
* Supermarket Insurance
* Zurich

Most of the smaller ones, DirectLine, Tesco, Churchill etc. are very soon owned by RBS Group (Royal Bank of Scotland) - it's a bit of a monopoly! You can find out by checking the 'small print' on their websites.

Good luck finding what you're after!

Check out this site :

Do you want the agency or the company?? If you want an agency, you will entail to let us know where on earth you are (state, country, etc) because most agents are only licensed surrounded by a limited number of states (ours is contained by a border town & are licensed in 3 states only). If you want a company, the best set are probably Allstate, State Farm, Progressive, GEICO, Nationwide, AIG, Chubb & Lloyds of London! Some are direct writers, some only work near independent agents, & Lloyds of London is a surplus line shipper that works with surplus lines brokers. You can basically type the name within your search engine & you should be capable of find the company website relatively easily.
www.directline.com
www.churchill.com
www.endsleigh.co.uk
www.confused.com
www.norwich grouping.co.uk
confused and g8 for comparing companies and norwich union are a brokers so will look for the best price for you. If you are looking for coup¨¦ insurance try sheilas wheels for women.
Norwich Union are NOT an insurance broker they solely offer their own products.

None of the companies timetabled in the above answer are brokers beside the exception of Endsleigh.. If you are looking for a broker who will search the marketplace & recommend a suitable policy with a reputable insurer- explore in you local nouns on yell.com or look at the BIBA website.

can i recommend www.gothicinsurance.com ? lol (that's my brokerage)

If you don't want warning but just the especially cheapest quote then travel on the internet search engines near people approaching Shelias Wheels etc. - I would recommend you always try a broker anyway as Direct Line et al. are by no money always lower than an insurance broker. A broker will regularly be able to hide away you money & give flawless cover at the same time.

Brokers are also responsible for the counsel they give you - so can be held adjectives. When you insure direct to the insurers (Direct Line, Norwich Union etc.) you are on your own as you accept the policy as see without any direction.
Just go to the local phone book!!

Sheesh, if you don't hold the initiative or imagination to find local addresses on your own, to dispatch resumes out to, you're NOT going to have the initiative or imagination to be successful contained by the insurance world!!
Search in Yahoo, u can bring back a lot

I pay cheque child support, if I die is that child entitiled to any of my estate if I set out him out of the will?

Question:
Does a child I pay child support to, entitled to any of my estate or enthusiasm insurance if I do not have him within my will. Can the mother go after the estate to collect adjectives child support payments?

Answer:
If you have a will which patently omits anything for the child, the mother would own to go to court and contest the will. Likely, if the child is a minor, the conciliator would rule that your estate would have to verbs to pay support for that child until they make the age of majority, in accordance next to your state laws.

Keep within mind, your child would be entitled to social security survivor benefits, as a minor, if you're paying into it. The benefits grasp divided between all minor children.

Life insurance is totally different - the ONLY entity which will attain any money, is the beneficiary you name. Most of the time, however, if there's a seperation agreement, support, or divorce involved, respectively parent is required to carry energy insurance to benefit the child if they should die while the child is still a minor. But if you have any OTHER life span insurance, it's not contestable.

If your life insurance policy go to your ESTATE, it becomes segment of your estate - and the assets could be used for support obligations.

I'm not going to even afford you my opinion of men who won't appropriate responsibility for their children, except to say they aren't legitimate men. But I do hope you've gotten neutered.
Yes, if the child is still a minor next the estate would pay the child formerly any other person surrounded by the will. You cannot just leave out your child.

If the child is over 18 then I do not surmise you have any responsibility toward the child and you can will your stuff to anyone you preference. Some States might make the age 21, though
Of course. Stop individual an as*. Your child is just that, YOUR child, and is morally and properly entitled to your support of all kind.
I don't know the answer to this question, but Im going to bet law on this will vary from state to state.
Get past its sell-by date your soap boxes. Maybe the childs mom has plenty of money and he have a disabled relative who needs the money more than the child. Or possibly he is thinking if the mother gets the money she will spend $5,000 on her barbie doll collection. Funny right, except i.e. what my counsin's ex wife did. It was adjectives in black and white on her credit card statements. He have to get the court to administer his support, so she would not spend it on herself.
Anyway, you want to seek decriminalized advice. It will rise and fall by state, and there are some ways to structure things so you can attain the money where you want it.

What are some moral recommendation where on earth to secure righteous insurance lead?

Question:

Answer:
I agree with JJ. I'm not sure what compassionate of insurance you are selling, but other possible places to get lead are:

1. If you graduated from college, your alumni association is a apt place to get name (some are better than others)
2. Local business times (newspaper) that announces new body or companies
3. Being part of the community, not lone by joining interest groups, but also neighborhood organizations, possibly you can become the neighborhood's insurance person (I know several ancestors who have gone this route and within the welcome roll they are included as the insurance person)
4. Most cities have network groups. If you join one of those, here are some definite sale there.

Good luck!
I truly work as an insurance lead contemporaries telemarketer in a national nickname center in Boulder, CO. We specialize within quality front generation for an assortment of insurance companies. If you're interested, I can have one of our inside sale representatives call you tomorrow.

Bolder Calls

Join organization that interest you. The most successful agents that I know are involved with their communities. You will bump into other business people from adjectives different places in go. All of them are interested in anyone successful. Don't push these connections or you will lose them. Talk shop with them to see how things are going. Ask them if they reason they have a virtuous policy and who they are working with. Do not "bash" the competition. If their agent have a problem or messes something up, they will remember your attentive conversations and business will move your way. It will hold a while, but it will come. Honest attention to the customer and good service will other trump the idiot that can save them 5% by buying a cut-rate policy.

I know frequent multi-millionaire agents and most did not start out that way, but they adjectives have apt ties to their communities.

Good Luck

House fire,lost everthing Question almost allstate homeowners insurance?

Question:
I choose to buy somewhere else instead of re build Will they give me the adjectives insured amount

Answer:
It depends on your State. If you are in a "valued" state, you will receive your policy limits. If you are not and resolve to rebuild, you would grasp the cost to rebuild, up to the policy boundaries as long as you are insured to at least 80% of the estimated replacement pro of your dwelling (called a co-insurance clause). If you have a replacement cost on dwelling agreement, you can get more than the dwelling define to rebuild (most companies own now cap that at 25% above the dwelling limit) with approaching kind & element. If you decide NOT to redo, you would get the Actual change value of your dwelling (because the premise of insurance is to put you backbone in matching position you were formerly the loss). If the house was newer & contained by GREAT shape, you will likely seize the dwelling limit (as long as you be not OVER insured - they are not going to give you $200,000 on a house i.e. only worth $100,000 to start again, just because you insured for that amount), or close to it. If the house be in of late average condition, then you would not return with the dwelling limit. All this would be determined at the time of the loss.
purchase somewhere else or redo the same does not effects the claim.if own full insurance they will pay the complete loss, not the insured amount.
For example: the home be insured for $100,000 and contents were insured for $75,000. If indeed you did lose everything, you should receive $175,000. Plus within may be a coverage called Additional Living Expenses that would cover hotel during your transition.
Likely not. For the contents, they will offer you actual cash good point until the items are replaced - you have 180 days to replace them, and you can claim the difference inside that time.

For the building, you will get salaried on the damages - if the house isn't completely ruined, it will be the cost to rebuild (assuming that's below the policy limit). Then there will be a withholding for your municipality, for the cost of demolition and wreckage removal. And I believe most policies won't pay replacement cost - cost to start again - on the structure, unless you actually modernize - it's only actual brass value (replacement cost smaller number depreciation.

Lastly, keep within mind if you didn't own the whole house, the check will get hold of made payable to you and the mortgage company, and they're going to insist that the mortgage balance is salaried off past you get ANYTHING. Because of that, I'd ask the adjuster to write a check for the structure SEPERATE from the contents.

Life insurance question?

Question:
My brother owes my son some money. Can I take out a natural life insurance policy on my brother and name the beneficiary as my son? Does my broth hold to know about it?

Answer:
Your brother must consent to enjoy a life insurance policy taken on him plus within must be an insurable interest between you and your brother.

So yes, your brother has to know roughly it since both of you have to sign the duration insurance application.
Yes, he has to know around it. You would be applying as the owner, and your brother as the proposed insured. Both parties call for to sign the insurance contract. Insurable interest would be easy because you are blood relatives (and amazingly close at that, him being your brother), but there's no path to get the policy unless you forge his signature, and that, unsurprisingly, is fraud. =)
Not only does he enjoy to know about it, but you will want to take home sure that you are the OWNER of the policy, in casing your brother later decide that he doesn't want the policy on his life. In which casing he won't be able to reverse it.

Since it may take a long time for your brother to succumb, isn't it faster to help yourself to him to small claims court?
Yes, you can take out a vivacity insurance policy on your brother, and name your son beneficiary. Yes, your brother have to know about it - he have to sign permission on the application, he have to give blood/saliva/urine for the pre-application carrying out tests, and he has to sign medical releases so his medical store can be reviewed by the insurance company.
yes you can take out insurance on ur brother.For more query on life insurance check www.financialqueries.com
You will not know how to take out a policy on him in need his consent, as he needs to sign the paperwork, and possibly help yourself to an exam as well. You might want to check within the life slice of http://bestinsuranceanswers.info...
