If we buy our own form insurance (not employer-sponsored) do we call for to win physicals?

Question:

Answer:
To attain the insurance the answer is typically no and I have never see one that did for a standard health policy.
If the insurance company requires it, yes.
explicitly strictly up to the insurer. each company is different
blucross/blueshield never made us do it and they are fitting everywhere
You are usually required to take a physical for anything 100,000.00 or more.... but I really believe it depends on the insurance company ..... some may require 50,000.00 or more.
Likely not - the insurance company would accept or decline you base on your medical records.

Can I 1099 to relations working beneath my janitorial bond? And Whom would I receive the best liability insurance?

Question:
this is my fifth year being self employed I would approaching to hire help. I'm not sure almost all the law on insurance and if it would be better to 1099 or pay quarterly fees to management ? What are leagal options surrounded by this matter?

Answer:
Sure you can! But that doesn't be determined they aren't employees! If you communicate them what time they have to be nearby, and what they have to do, they're body. You're responsible for their injuries (workers comp) whether or not you 1099 them.

Calling them "subcontractors" and not withholding taxes does NOT protect you. It does NOT relieve you of any liability, either to them, or to your employer (clients).

However, usually a bond only covers team. So if you DO 1099 them, they WON'T be covered by your bond.

Be sure to check out this link, almost subcontractors vs. employees. http://www.twc.state.tx.us/news/efte/app...
A bond lone cover you if you filed it lower than a sole propiertoship, if you filled it lower than a corporation or partnership it will cover your employees, but simply if you have disclosed them to the bond company. Remember that anyone bonded and having liability insurance are two different things.

A bond single helps you return with your license and permits beside the state or local governments, but it's not an actual insurance policy. If you want your workers to be covered you should look into purchasing a general liability policy which are not that expensive.
You as a sole Proprietor will be covered for a dishonest accomplishment ( theft) only underneath your name. The support you hire whether "independent contractors" or employees are not covered on your bond.

Many contracts provide you to enjoy either a Bond or liability coverage.

My Janitor clients own both...because they provide different aspects of coverage.

You can hire "subs' as Independents to work for you and 1099 them. But it is advisable to have a "sub-contract agreement next to them for that specific job. This is because they can work other job and are technically not an employee. They necessarily are their own business. I would contact a local Independent agent on this. The cost could be any where from $550 to $1,000 depending on sale for liability. The bond for $5,000 limit is usually individual $100 per year .

Remember that if you contract independents to work for you ..they should also show evidence that they have liability insurance as capably. Also naming you as an additional insured. Their insurance would be primary.

Homeowners Insurance Question... should we seize an HO3 or an HO7 policy?

Question:
I am so confused! I know that the HO3 is not as comprehensive as the HO7 policy, but I'm not sure if the HO7 is worth the extra money...

There is a $70/year difference.

Should we spend the extra money and get the HO7? Is nearby another kind of policy that we should ask roughly?

Answer:
Think cars when you think in the region of the difference between the HO3 and the HO7.
The HO3 is the base model; it will bring back you around, but it is not built for everything. You can add a piece here or there (DVD pack, 12 speaker surround, etc) but they cost a lot to donate to the base model.
The HO7 have all of the features of the underpinning, but a bunch more little options are also thrown contained by. Because you take greatly of features up front, you get a discount. If you are paying individual $70 more a year for the HO7, go for it.
That said, don't forget to confer to your agent about the other "features" that are available to you. Talk nearly your risks and make sure they are covered. Pet, children, patio equipment (pool, trampoline, etc), home business, ATV, snowmobile, and on. Some of these will be covered and some won't; make sure you know which is which and insure for what you own.

Good Luck.
OH, the HO7 is VASTLY superior to the HO3!! It's WORTH the extra $70 a year.

If you've got someone offering it to you, lift it.

Did your agent sit down and show you the huge list of coverage differences between the two?? The biggest piece, it takes your contents and insures them for SO MUCH MORE than an HO3. Not dollar perceptive, but coverage wise.

I'd also sit down and ask them what caring of "bells & whistles" they can add to the policy - fortification endorsements. Especially backup of sewers and drains. Which is probably built into the HO7.
Hi thier the are essentially 2 type of homeowners policies it all depends on you, variety sure the dwelling amount is the amount of the mortgage, if you dont have a mortgage generate sure you see what the cost of square foot is in the nouns of your home, then in connection with your personal property, do you have topical or old personal items fashion sure you cover your personal property and i recommed always a better deductible on your home if it is fairly up to date, older homes should own lower deductible never now what will ensue, if you have any question check out globalwideinsurance.com

What is reinsurance beside regard to an insurance company?

Question:
Can someone please explain what exactly reinsurance is and how it relates to big insurance companies here in the US similar to Aetna or United Health.

Also, what might a reinsurance analyst do at one of those big companies.

Thanks

Answer:
Reinsurance is insurance for insurance companies. Insurance companies are required by state law to maintain a certain amount of money within reserves to pay out claims but the amount specifically required is usually not enough for chief disasters such as a hurricane or if there is a core judgment against the company. Also, the money contained by reserve is often tied up surrounded by short term investments. The insurance companies purchase insurance to cover this shortfall so that they'll stay solvent.

The analyst is the department specifically responsible for maintaining the proper amount of insurance to cover the insurance company.
Reinsurance is base on the idea of shared risk so that not a soul event can bankrupt an insurance company. Many companies enjoy trillions in possible liability and a company that may be highly concentrated surrounded by one region of the country can sell some of the liability to a reinsurance company so that something similar to Katrina or 9/11 will not bankrupt a company. The hit may me spread over 2,3 or more companies and they will solitary realize 5-20% of a claim typically.

For Aetna or UH it would be done so that a pandemic would not bankrupt the company although worst covering modeling indicates the reinsurance companies might exceed their capacity beside a bird flu pandemic because they might hold risk from 8 or 10 health companies that would adjectives be hit very rugged during such an event. A reinsurance analyst would determine acceptable pricing to go off the risk and still turn a profit fror the company.
Reinsurance is when an insurance company transfers some of the risk to ANOTHER insurance company, that specializes contained by transferred risk. Health insurance example: They would reinsure all claims over $100,000. Typically, this would be premature babies, extensive cancer treatments, or other importantly specialized, intensive medical care. Once the claims would be over $100,000 for one character, they then submit them to their "reinsurer" for reimbursement.

The Reinsurance analyst would look at the lingo and conditions of the reinsurance, and the pricing, to figure out how to go by the cost along to the end consumer surrounded by a fair instrument; and make sure at hand aren't any major uninsured loopholes.

Some ER's hold a payment plan leeway. Contact the ER financial person at that hospital and see if you can work something out near them.
they have aid right at the hospital, telephone them and find out about it
First rotten, call the billing department at the hospital and convey them your story. Most times they will substantially lower the bill. With the rest you can make settlement arrangements with them. Be firm, and let somebody know them that you are a poor uninsured college student and this bill is way beyond your funds, what can they do for you.

Good. Luck.
Call in and ask if they enjoy a Charity program...some hospitals do..they make you write them a missive explaining that your a broke college student with no insurance than they nick a tax write sour.

If they dont have a charity program...telephone call in and put together a payment plan.

Good luck.
i don't know around financial aid but as long as u make SOME application to pay they can't at least possible ruin ur credit by suing u. everytime u get a bill transport them 5 bucks and they have to except it and if they do embezzle u to court u have proof that u enjoy been trying to reward the bill. Keep ALL ur receipts and proof of payment until the bill is rewarded in full
correct luck
just don't settle up the bill. your credit will be shot, but you won't have to wages. Millions of americans get latest credit cards with crappy credit.

Otherwise, you're going to hold to call the hospital emergency room, and set up a recompense plan with them. And as a broke college student, you're eligible for the robustness insurance at your school - which is usually the cheapest entity going. So I'd go down here and sign up so this doesn't happen again.
wellfare dept. where on earth you get medicaid foor chidren or the social workers from the hospital they might own a payment plan.

Could i borrow against my go insurance?

Question:
You know if i wanted to by a unusual home or something? cause i know you can for a Roth IRA so can you do something similar to that with a duration insurance policy?

Answer:
If there is currency value within your life insurance, you can borrow 75-100%, depending on the type of policy you hold. Whole life and all-inclusive life let you borrow 100%, while variable duration only allows 75-90%.

But if you borrow the lolly value, you are reducing the destruction benefit until you pay it stern. You should check the loan interest that is charged on the lolly value by reading the policy.

So you own to be careful here when you borrow money from the brass value. If you die after you borrow, your beneficiary will with the sole purpose get the demise benefit minus any cash importance borrow including loan interest. Would this death benefit be plenty for your beneficiary to live on?
it would depend on what type of life insurance you enjoy. call your agent for the type of policy you own. Good luck!
Life insurance loans are generally available on unharmed life and sometimes available on all-purpose life policies.

They are typically not available on permanent status life which is the most adjectives form of life insurance.

Check on the lingo of your particular policy.
If you enjoy your policy, read it. Some policies (mainly whole natural life and other forms of "cash value" plicies) allow for loans for different items and those will be spelled out within the policy statements.

If you do not have a copy of your policy, phone your agent and ask him/her to send you one, while you are asking him this ask. It is always pious for you to read your policy to understand what it is that you are paying for.

Since policies are not written contained by normal terms, you might want another person to interpret it for you into layman's expressions.

Good luck. Hope you get a great foreign home and shop the mortgages intensely.
If it's a whole duration insurance policy, you can borrow up to the "cash value" (which is your overpayment that stays credited to you). Then you discharge interest (on your own money) to the insurance company (which they keep). And if you die before you payment it all fund, they take the unpaid amount (of your own money) sour the check they write to your beneficiary.

Hey, I have a great conception! Give ME $5,000. I'll hold it for you. I'll lend it back to you, at 10% interest. And if you settle up me back, I'll be off the credit on your account and foot someone when you die. And if you don't pay me rear legs, I'll keep it! That's deeply how it works.
yes u can do and u can take home loan against urs insurance policies
You might know how to depending on the type of coverage that you have. I would collectively guess at your age, you wouldn't have a great deal of cash pro in your policy unless your parents did a single-pay in one piece life or something.

Yes, articulate to your current agent, then check near another independent agent. If you don't have a taxable gain within your policy (you have more change value than you compensated into it), you might be better off taking the brass in mitt and buying a new policy (especially at your age), but this take guidance and experience.

I won't pay a dime for carbon insurance. The integral "carbon inspector" thing is NEVER going to take place, it's middle (and lower) class blackmail.
get fire and flod approaching the rest of the people, stop playing next to maches and get a co2 alarm so you can sleep.

Health insurance industry databases.?

Question:
My insurer has be sending me diabetes material. I am not diabetic, but be prescribed a diabetic medicine (glyset) contained by an attempt to help my hypoglycemia. I explained this to them, and they said that they took me sour of the diabetes mailing catalogue.

Is there a robustness insurance industry database In which I might now be programmed as diabetic? If so, who do I deal next to to clear my record?

I be never officially diagnosed as diabetic, they simply made the inference based on the prescription.

Answer:
There is a clearing house for information that insurance companies use call the Medical Information Bureau (MIB, I know). Until recently, they individual housed information about applications for existence and health insurance. They only just started logging information about pharmacy chronicles.

Don't worry you will not be peg as diabetic. It is easy to explain that this pills is commonly used to control hypoglycemia. The practice of prescribing a medication other than the primary purpose is call "off-label prescribing." I have see Lupus patients taking AZT, for instance, even though the insured did not have HIV.
I can bet that you are not within such a database other than your insurers, your doctor, and the pharmacist. No such database exists where on earth health organization share medical data, since that hustle and bustle would be clearly against the law.
If you enjoy any concerns go to MIB.com and they will furnish you a copy of your MIB report which would be as close to a national database as you are probable to find, You can see what is on there and dispute any errors.

Insurance definition?

Question:
In regards to insurance companies, what is the difference between

non-admitted and admit basis?

Answer:
An admit carrier is regulated by the state it's doing business surrounded by, which makes it subject to that state's rules and regulations. Any policyholders would be protected against claims if they should walk bankrupy, by the state insolvency fund. If you have a complaint going on for that carrier, you could write to the insurance department, and they can intervene if they find your complaint valid.

A non-admitted possessor is NOT regulated by that state, the policyholders are NOT protected against insolvency, and most of the time there is an extramural tax and stamping allowance in totalling to the premium that is charged.
Some states adopt insurance companies to do business within the state. Our state have a fund that all insurance companies that are permitted to do business in the state pay cheque into. This fund will cover claims in the event that one of those companies go out of business (for whatever reason). If you are insured by a non admit company and they go out of business - utter from huge losses as those associated with a unconscious disaster etc. - then the fund does not protect your interest because that company have not payed into the fund. Think this might be what you are referring to.
OR - are you asking about form insurance where you are admit to the hospital for an over night stay so the deductible is complex as opposed to same year procedures that would be less costly for the insurer and smaller amount co pay for you?
Admitted companies are those who the state verify and regulates, and has some control and responsability over. In other words if an admit company files bankrupcy then the state will pilfer over the debt of that company and pay any oustanding claims to the current insureds.

A Non admit company on the other hand altough is regulated by the state insurance commisioner, can achieve out of doing business in a state minus having to recompense any unsettle or outstanding claims, and the state will not be responsible for any of that.
The above posts were pretty angelic (especially Mbrcatz; as always), but I wanted to expand rather. Most insurance companies that write insurance on a non-admitted basis also write on an admit basis as in good health. They have formed separate companies that allow them more flexibility. The non-admitted companies will hold a lot more flexibility next to their rates and can accommodate some risks that the standard market can not. Asbestos abatement, grease well field and other high risk category can not be written through standard because the risk is way too glorious for the standard premium. The non-admitted company can charge the higher rates (sometimes 10-20 times difficult than standard) to get plenty money to turn a little profit. They typically specialize within a few niche areas and know what to look for to properly rate the risks.
What you need to examine out for are the non-admitted companies that come and go. Find out what the corporation is similar to: who are they owned by, where are they domiciled, what is their AM best rating, etc.
Do your homework or work next to an independent agent that you know to help you out.
The commission you foot to your agent is well worth the amount of awareness that they carry next to them.

Good Luck!

My father is 79 and have suffered a stroke he have no burial insurance or energy insurance?

Question:
does anyone know if there is some type of insurance that I can buy to facilitate nme with burial cost? he is a Veteran and worried i.e. there isn't plenty money to bury him when he passes

Answer:
I am good for my Mom who is 70, but you may wish to look into burial insurance. Horrible as it sounds, their underwriters appropriate many factor into account and literally have a flutter how long the policy holder will live and base their acknowledgment and rate upon that. My mom has some vigour issu8es that made it easier for me to just put aside 100$ a month to cover her. We digit we will have adequate soon to take nurture of a more than modest burial at this rate.
I know of one company we looked into - http://www.burialinsurance.net/burial_in...
They actually help us to plan a savings plan instead of buying a plan. psst don't recount them, I think we have a compassionate sales agent :-)
I woiuld suggest starting next to your insurance agent and let him research some burial plans that would apply related to cost and wishes within your area. Good luck, and I hope your father is next to you for some time yet to come.
peace
nearby are some guaranteed issue burial/final expense policies available. they are fairly costly and roughly the insured must live for the next 2-5 years or it in recent times offers a return of premium. Guarantee Life out of NY offer one such policy. I'm sure you'll fine something in your State as resourcefully.
Contact the VA, there are benefits for him.
It is doubtful that he would qualify for any type of insurance at this stage. As final expenses are running $6,000 to $10,000 right presently, depending on where you are, you might contact a couple of funeral homes and create arrangements to start prepaying for the one's services that you like the best.

Make a monthly pocket money, just close to you would for a policy. The difference is that it will not be for insurance, but rather for something more concrete. Depending on the severity of the stroke, you father could be around for moderately awhile yet, at most minuscule a few more years. It is good to plan for the inevitable, but hope for it not self soon. That would also give you time to money quite a bit of the fees, plus, it may allow you to lock surrounded by pricing to combat against inflation, in grip your father is around for a long time.

If you have siblings, it would be best to take home arrangements for all of you to split the costs.

Good luck.
Okay... so, he is a Vet... near is $250.00 towards final cost, the best thing would be to contact a local funeral pallor, and work out an arrangement in a minute, they should be able to set you up on a payoff plan.

Insurance may be a wasted avenue to look into, insurance companies treaty in risk, and one 79, suffering a stroke, the risk for an underwriter is to great.
If it is for funeral expenses you will be better off to progress to your funeral home and do a funeral preplan. They have insurance that funds their plans and hold the added benefit that thry won't count against you as an asset when qualifying for Medicaid.

I can write an essay on anything nearly life you ask me...however, the question i see on the exam aren't questions from the book!

How several times did it take you to elapse?? Any advice??

Answer:
I took it for MD and studied the hours of daylight before the exam and passed. I do not recommend this, but I am a angelic test taker and already have a lot of expertise about insurance. I don't know what state you are contained by, or how much the exams differ from state to state, but you need to try to remember what your weakest points be. What questions did you struggle near? Focus on you weaknesses, but don't forget to review what you didn't hold trouble with, you might forget some of it.

Do not rush the exam. Take your time and read the give somebody the third degree 2-3 times before answering it. You attain a lot of time for the assessment so don't worry give or take a few not finishing.
Could you be reviewing the wrong books?
take a bunch of practice test on cd , do them a bunch of times, they helped me alot because the test seems to word stuff contained by ways that mess me up
Um, I passed the first time, sorry.

The biggest thing, is don't start thinking give or take a few your answer until AFTER you've read the entire question. And attain a great night's sleep the TWO nights past you take the assessment.
The company you work for should of gave you a some generous of cheat sheet. Just take your time read respectively question adjectives the way. When I took mines I go to fast and I score a 69%. Im licensed now. and be licensed for 3years now. Good Luck
I passed the first time. Study the parts of the life span contract. Take your time, and use your common sense. You will do fine. Good luck this time!
I enjoy taken it twice for the state of Florida, and passed it the first time on both occasions...Take a cavernous breath, relax, read the entire question earlier even thinking about an answer. The wording of the exams, tend to make you enjoy a pre-conceived notion before getting to the wind up of the question...

Sounds close to you're stressing about it...That is the antagonist at this point.....

GOOD LUCK !!
