Insurance totaled saloon - I can't obtain reimbursed for smog check?

This is in California. They are reimbursing charge, license, etc. They have come up beside the final figures (I submitted comps). The disaster was not my responsibility (I was sitting still at the time waiting on a light) and I quality I should be reimbursed for all my losses. The smog cost be $75 only one month past the loss and its not like I have any choice. When you sell a motor, the fact that it passed smog is a selling point. Insur say NO, it does not add merit. So I am out my money for that too along with the sting of losing my classic saloon I babied for 20 years? Do I own any recourse in getting the $$ from the at-fault deputation?

BTW, this is under the unusual smog test directive which took effect in December 97. It add on another test at $20 more than the prehistoric test.

Health Insurance company for a graduate student? What one is best as far as price and coverage??

Answers:   Nope, you can't obtain that reimbursement. See, you need that inspection to be roadworthy. If you FAIL the inspection or don't hold it, your car is worth smaller number - but having it, doesn't brand your car worth MORE. Just close to the amount of gas sitting in the cistern.

Having a transmission doesn't INCREASE the good point - it means it's running. Same beside inspections. NOT having them, DECREASES the merit. But having them doesn't increase it.

You're not going to know how to collect this from the at fault celebration.
