Need Help Deciding on Health Insurance?

I just started a hot job (yay!) and am surrounded by the process of picking which Heath Insurance plan I want. My husband and I are both in really polite health and once in a blue moon go to the doctor. We don't plan on getting pregnant for just about 2 years, so we won't need that coverage. Here are my option::
1)$168.96 biweekly. $600 deductible. Pays 80% after deductible. Co=pay is $20 for Physician & $30 for specialist. Prescription drug are $10, $25, and $40.

2)$119.73 biweekly. $1600 deductible. Pays 80% after deductible. $25 & $35 co-pays. Prescrip. drugs are same as above.

3)$87.54 biweekly. $2600 deductible. Pays 80% after. $30 & $40 co=pays. Prescrip. drugs are same as above.

4)$53.62 biweekly. $4000 deductible. Pays 80% after. Also pays 80% on co-pays and prescrip. drugs after deductible.

5)$201.58 biweekly. $600 deductible. Pays 80% after. Same as #4 on co-pays and $10,25 and 40 on prescrip. drugs.

Help?!?!?!

What is Better. HMO or PPO?

Answers:   I agree with Gummibear-the $1600 ded.

On the pregnancy coverage, brand name sure that you know what the waiting period is on it so you can be sure to start paying for it BEFORE you obtain pregnant. Most have a 12 month waiting length.

If you rarely procure sick, you may choose option 3 but achieve an HSA to cover the deductible. Contributions to the HSA are tax deductible.

Can a policy holder use the dosh merit to salary a premium?

Well I work for a health insurance company. The examine to ask yourself is, if something tramatic happened close to you got into a sports car accident or something or be hospitalized, which deductible would you be able to afford? And nick in mind you'll also own that 20% coinsurance too.

I would suggest the $1600 ded, my ded 1250 and i'm single. But if I'm healthy and I just go for doctors vsts afterwards all I pay cheque is a copay on doc vst and prescriptions. What ded/coins amount can you afford if you had some through medical care?

Also does he enjoy insurance through his employer? or are you carrying the insurance for the two of you?

Also, if you have programmed surgery or what not most hospital will make you foot your deductible/20% coin up front so definitely hold some money set aside or a credit card put aside for emergencies..that's what i did.
