What is the different between waiting time and..?

What is the different between waiting period and clearout period underneath health and disability insurance?

High-risk robustness insurance pools, insurance coverage for individuals near pre-existing medical conditions?

Answers:   A waiting time is the period of time from the date of issue until it become effective; the amount of time the policy must be inforce up to that time the insured is covered for a non-pre-existing claim.

An elimination length is the period of time a party must be off from work due to covered injury or sickness, before the policy begin to pay.

Example:

You enjoy a disability policy, and it has an expulsion period of 7/30 days. This funds that for an accident, you must be stale from work for 7 days before it begin to pay, or rotten for 30 days due to an illness formerly it begins to salary.

Anyone know why I cant reverse my Health Insurance through my employer until "stretch out enrollment"?

It's the same point. If you become ill and qualify for benefits after 30 days (as an example), next your benefits start on the 31st day. The 30 days be your elimination length, or waiting period. It's effectively duplicate thing - a time deductible.
