They will insure you with a pre-existing condition. You will enjoy coverage for any new occurrence but will have a 6 month waiting spell for the pre-existing condition. After 6 months your pre-existing condition will also be covered.

You hold to either gain a job, and loaf out the 18 month waiting period and get hold of the insurance through your group plan; get added on to a spouse's group plan (and own the waiting period).
