Etrade, Fidelity, scottrade, i heard of a trial 1 called TRADE KING that charges 5 bucks respectively time you purchase/sell a stock; compared to etrade 12 n other around 10-13. Right now i in recent times want to buy 2 or 3 diff. companies n keep them 4 a yr or so. dont really want to buy and supply a lot.

I am not sure who you guard with, but you might look into getting a brokerage article with your mound. Bank of America offers severely competitive trading fees in its poorly-advertised brokerage accounts (anywhere from free to $10 per trade). They also own very competitve interest rates on bread you leave contained by the account un-invested. I close to TD Ameritrade like the other guy...

Really depends on how much mitt holding you want/need. If you do your own research than you should consider INTERACTIVE BROKERS...Simple, no frills brokerage with incredibly low commissions. PEACE & GOOD LUCK! I have an vindication with ETRADE and the service is fantastic. You can find cheaper rates, it adjectives depends on what you are looking for.
