I am an Australian resident. How do I find out more info about buying an investment property in the US?
Answers: what most rich people do in land investments in america (around here anyway) is almost illegal,,,,they buy a large lot chop it in smaller pieces,,,charging 3xs or more on the property value,,but make it easy for people to get loans they cant afford to pay.happens alot here...then they get evicted or forced to move,the place gets run down and vandilazed and then the vaule goes down way below normal,,investors goes back in and buy them cheaply,,remoldel and resale for more profits.---its wrong and somewhat illegal,,but it happens.
of course it all depends on where u buy the land,,different states have certain laws..hope that helps,=)

Short flog, impossible to strike option, for unlimited gain ?
Short sell, impossible to strike option, for unlimited gains. Is it that graceful. If short selling is allowed for retail investors then, option having strike price almost impossible to get done can be short selled in bulk.Is at hand any loophole in this stratgy ?

There is no such thing as an "impossible" to achieve strike. You cannot even sell option on strke prices that a too unlikely to be reached because the bid quote for those option will be zero.

If you pick way out of the money strike prices you can kind five dollars per contract most of the time. Just rememnber the times you are wrong it is likely to cost you hundreds of dollars per contract.

Short selling is allowed for retail customers, but there are border requirements that will limit the number of contracts you can go.

One huge one. Saying something is "almost impossible" is essentially the same as wise saying it will happen sometime. If you get rid of such a lot of cheap option it only have to happen once to lose more money than you made within years.
A year or so ago someone pointed out an example where the attraction of some very cheap GOOG option went from $2,000 to over $1,000,000 contained by less than 24 hours.
There are 2 kind of people.. those who HAVE lost a bundle short trading and those who WILL lose a bundle short trading.
Stay out of short trading... when you are long, adjectives you can lose is your investment... when you are short, you can LOSE EVERYTHING YOU OWN.

They are different forms and usually quite seperate. Do you want to be a "trader"? A trader is a short time ago someone whou takes instructions and does the settlement with the flea market (usually by pressing a button. I always estimate that pure traders are like marketplace traders and the career span can be a bit short. If you are conversation about stocks and shares within are many different aspects. Analyst, sale trader, institutional sales, researc, Client broker, buyer, Portfolio valuations etc, etc.
