Is share builder ok to buy stocks from?

Sharebuilder is okay. I've had an account there for about 6 or 7 years. I think there may be better services, though. One thing I find frustrating is so many stocks are not available through Sharebuilder. For example I hear stock tips from talking heads or a magazine then research it and when I get ready to place a buy order I get "This stock is not available through Sharebuilder". They have recently changed their pricing structure since being purchased by ING.

If foreign interest rates are higher/lower and US bank are competing for foreign funds, the US banks will independently raise/lower interest rates to clash demand.
Finally, the Fed (Federal Reserve) will adjust interest rates by shifting the base rate. This is the "cost of money" which is what the feed charges banks. Whenever you hear going on for the fed "lowering the rate 1/2 a point," you can expect a .5% or greater drop surrounded by rates.
