Is at hand a conspiracy going on on Wall Street?
Why is it when there is 1 discouraging news every other doomed to failure news follows?it's close to a group of people working together to dally till that perfect moment to relase adjectives the data that will create frenzy and sell-off..
I've seen this appear 3 times since last July/Aug.
Are the institutions driving the price down and after the madness sell-off they buy back those stocks again?
are the individual investors close to you and I always going to be the losers surrounded by their game?
Answers: Interesting opinion you have. Actually, it might be that bleak news feed on itself as also it seems that flawless news does. In certainty I believe there is an behind the times saying that go something like this: Things begin in 3s. Probably merely an old wives myth. If the theory of 3s is correct, consequently perhaps presently as you have mentioned is a flawless time to buy since we have have our 3 pieces of bad communication. Rumor has it that Warren Buffet is origination to rub his hands together surrounded by glee.
Actually, to be a looser you really have to buy at the bazaar tops such as in 1999 and 2000 and vend at the market bottoms such as 2003. That will do it.
Stocks for some grounds unlike clothing do not attract buyers when there is a big red mark down in price. A 30% stale sale surrounded by stocks causes more selling to some extent than buying. I am not really sure why this is but it does seem to be the defence.
Some of this might very ably be caused by the institutions as you hold suggested. If hedge funds find into a bind with their 90% leverage, they hold little choice rather than to liquidate as oodles have be doing. If investors in expand end mutual funds get going redeeming their shares then the funds hold to liquidate. Nothing like throwing a few tens of millions shares of GE and C on the bazaar to reduce prices.
The hoary saying is that Wall Street is driven by two motivations: greed and anxiety.
