Where do you feel gold ingots prices will be surrounded by 10 years?

with gold ingots at around 890 dollars an ounce where do you ruminate it will be in 10 years .would you buy gold ingots today for the future

Answers: Gold will sophisticated. Unlike diamonds and other valuables, you cannot make gold ingots. Once its gone, its gone. However gold have never been a great long occupancy investment. Not only does gold ingots have a lower return than stocks over the long permanent status, but gold does not even tap inflation in the long run. (contrary to popular belief) I trade gold ingots short term but would not maintain it for the long haul.
I dont know something like 10 years but 2009 march it would be around $1500 an ounce

Shareholding on Share Certificate?

Hi all, I am going to invest surrounded by stock market and would similar to to learn a few things just about it. Is there a standard number of shareholdings per share tag? For example, say Tesco's share price is 15.00, to own a share pass, do I pay of late 15 quid or do i have to take-home pay 15 x 100 = 1500 quid or ...?

I am not sure whether I understand fully going on for scrip share. Does it mean that within order to own a share permit of Tesco (assuming that a share certificate is 15 quid x 100), I can buy 50 scrip share this month and next another 50 on the following month to make up a share pass?

Thanks!

Answers: If a share price is quoted as lb15.00 (it changes by the minute) to be exact what you pay. The expert broker you deal through may own minimum transaction values.

If he doesnt you buy one share at lb15.00 and get 1 share pass. If you buy 10 shares you (obviously) pay lb150.00 but would still simply get 1 share authorization ( which would have lb150 or ten shares written on it.

Scrip issues are shares issued at nil cost to the individual. The reason companies issue such shares is to use up the average cost per share so that investors find them more attractive.

If you owned 100 x lb15 shares in Tesco for example they may agree on to issue all shareholders next to the same number of shares at nought cost. This means that your average share price is very soon 7.50 but you have twice as lots shares so your investment is still worth the same.
To join to the above scrip shares are just another route of paying dividends except they give you shares instead of currency.

e.g you hold 100 shares price lb1. a divi of 10p per share is declared you can either adopt lb10 cash or 10 extra shares
A share authorization simply has a number on it that states how frequent shares it represents. It can be as low as one.

Tesco's "scrip share" is just a dividend compensated in stock instead of dosh. (This is a UK term, within the US we just send for it a stock dividend as opposed to a brass dividend, or if it's a large adequate proportion it is called a stock split.) So read aloud you have ten shares, and they announce a distribution of one scrip share for respectively existing share, you will receive a certificate for 10 shares -- and will enjoy 20 in total.

(More probable, you will just bring back a letter axiom the shares are being held contained by electronic form for your convenience. This is the new passageway.)
The share prices in the UK are quoted within pence. So Tesco shares are at the moment 422.5p EACH. Wherever you see this price it is only really correct when on the Level 2 which is contained by real time. This shows two prices: If you are buying it is the difficult, if you are selling it is the lower. (mind you it sometimes moves the other way round-this is call a backwardation) Theoretically you could buy or sell one share.
You want to own an idea more or less Level 2, SETs (order driven) and the 'market makers' which is open market driven. and also liquidity.
Second question; Answer; No.
Scrip contained by it's simplest form means shares! (Hence Scripology is collecting share certificate. Usually though scrip is used in the context of a share issue to existing shareholders. Thus a scrip dividend is more shares instead of bread. Have a look at www.shareworld.co.uk there is a Q & A slot and other useful articles on stocks and shares.
