No. You can sell shares in a private company (obviously). However you need to talk to the company and the Articles etc. must allow it.
How do I step in the region of investing within gold ingots and/or silver?
I am interested in putting a portion of my hoard into gold and/or silver - however I am confused as to exactly how one go about doing this. I've G00GLEd the nouns around my place and it looks like the solely places where gold/silver is available are shady instrument shops type deals and coin shops. What should one look for to objectively determine (not word of mouth) whether or not a provider is reputable?More importantly, what is a reasonable premium I should be expected to remuneration on gold/silver bullion? And how can I be sure that what I am buying is actually the solid deal and not basically plain crap?
I am not interested in using e-bay or Kitco and paying the associated shipping costs or verbs about insuring a shipment or have it stolen or lost. I am also not interested in buying ETF, e-gold, gold ingots stocks, or anything of that sort. I am only interested contained by tangible metal for reason too detailed for me to get into near the character and time decrease I have right immediately. Please help!
Answers: all right you don't leave frequent options if you are not ready to pay for shipping. the single thing that i can voice is call the bbb within your area and ask if the coin trader has any complaints. you might also see if nearby is a coin collector club in your nouns that has tips for you. as far as pricing go i use the web to compare prices. goldline.com have some great info on it. you can G00GLE silver or gold bullion and find plentiful dealers to shop.
First I call for to say that gold ingots and silver are historically terrible investments. They enjoy had a clad run lately, but despite what all the radio commercials vote, gold have never beat inflation, never mind stocks over a significant spell. US currency is no longer based on gold ingots.
That being said, in attendance are plenty of companies that specialize in gold ingots bullion. As for not paying shipping, I don't think thats authentic unless you buy from a coin show. (which you don't want to do). You will pay for shipping someway because dealers leave behind their cost on to you.
I like www.monex.com the best. But that doesn't solve your shipping cost issue.
