My 401K is > 40% surrounded by international funds. When should I consider moving domestic?
I adjusted my 401k porfolio two year fund to invest > 40% in international funds. The returns own been fabulous. But its a flawless 40 years for me before I can touch this :).My interview is, how and when should I consider adjusting my international funds? What would be your guidance for readjustment of these funds?
Answers: You should always enjoy some international exposure in your portofolio. Think diversification and it will stand the trial of time. Make sure you have equity, bond and small, mid and big cap blend, vlaue etc ...
This passageway when one sector of the market is down the others verbs up your return. The old addage is do not put adjectives your eggs in one picnic basket. This is true for investing as well.
