Answers: This is me! No CPA or CFA. I - bank want the best MBA's. It really is as hard as the editorial make it come across if not harder. It took years of internships, grunt analyst work and 70 hour weeks. Then, bad to get your MBA (from a top 10 conservatory if you want to come back to a firm as an associate). You can do anything once you enjoy started working as a banker. After that, any type of career you apply for after that will be cake; and employers know that. You hold to be quite analytical and one heck of a critcal brain. In my first interview, this banker at goldman sachs be asking me the typical questions later randomally said, " In 5 seconds, make clear to me the degree gauge if the clock reads 1:35". Its tough. But you will swot up all something like investing, asset management, nouns and team work. Great experience. Get your undergrad, work intricate, get your MBA. Oh and to more clearly answer your quiz...they dont really care where on earth or what your undergrad degree is contained by...they want to see that you recieved your MBA from a top tier school. Harvard, Wharton, Columbia, Dartmouth, Chicago etc.
If firm A buys firm B, does it thing if you owned B shares previously or after the announcement? see example...?
for example, BAC is buying CFC for .1822 CFC/BAC ratio. well, today BAC = 37.41 & CFC = 5.35, 5.35/37.41 = .143. CFC should be 6.82 base on BAC's offer. why isnt it? why is CFC at such a discount when BAC have already offered .1822? is it purely based on speculation that BAC will be worth 5.35/.1822 = 29.36 at the actual time of the transaction? otherwise shouldnt investors gobble up CFC since its at a discount?or is the .1822 solely available to shares owned on the date of the announcement? ie if you purchase CFC now, you receive less than .1822 or some unknown ratio?
Answers: its adjectives speculation based on the daytime the deal closes. collectively these track closely as you probably have see with other mergers but given the track copy and recent market conditions, especially within this sector its like a crap shoot
It does not thing when you buy CFC. The problem is that CFC may not be bought by BAC. They may change their mind. I sure would if I be them.
How many baby boomers lost their nest egg last week?
Answers: Gave me a good laugh. I am sure there are more than just a few who have that one their minds.
My paper loss was in line with the overall loss, but I've now been through this enough that it no longer makes me nervous.
It is a reminder though, that even in good times, when the monthly statements are wonderful, we need to re-balance our portfolio.
