Is good idea to buy etrade (ETFC) stock and sell VCSY and OPK?
Answers: E-trade looks like it may go to zero. I would be extremely cautious about getting into it. IMO there is probably more upside to buying a quality silver stock like Wheaton Silver,and much less risk.
...and another way of looking at it: If this credit mess straightens out ( which the fed and the gov and foreign investors are coming close to ) then E*trade could easily be into double digits again...may take 6 to 9 months, however!

Answers: I don't believe that you can attain this kind of leverage. In precious metals you can typically obtain 25:1 maximum. Bonds(interest rates)-- around 40:1 . I would avoid excessive leverage anywhere. More leverage= more risk, and more chance that you may go and get whipsawed out of your position even if you are right about your bet.
