How to do the analysis for Elliott Wave?
Without blindly accepting the theory of Elliott Wave, I would resembling to find out whether the stock market have any developed patterns base on 5 impulse breakers and 3 correction waves. Does anyone go and get through this process on analysis for Elliott Wave? Could you please share how you did the analysis?Thank anyone for any suggestions
Eric
Answers: Counting Elliot Waves is not easy favour and it is subjective.people can find different flounder counts on the charts in indistinguishable time frame...
Lets take an example of the current DJIA.
i counted it surrounded by this way -
Wave 1 = Low of 13090 to High of 13570
Wave 2 = High of 13570 to Low of 11620
Wave 3 = from this final low.it continues.till now possibly till 12900-13000 odd level.
after which we may see another decent correection.
someone else would own counted it in a different instrument...so its pretty subjective...
see its difficult to predict such moves...all that you hold is a hint of the downside.resembling even when it entered the Wave 3 phase...you could not own really confirmed it after the Wave 2 downside...you would have to use other indicators to confirm it(like surrounded by this case...i assumed the tweezer bottom formation that have formed)...
you cant really work with the Elliot Waves until you hold a firm understanding of these complex current forms.
for more info you can long into -
www.stockcharts.com and use other search engines...i would suggest you look for books on elliot breakers...
you may check out wikipedia too...it has some correct content...
good luck!
In a bull open market there are 5 breakers up and corrections of 3 down.In bear market there are 5 down followed by rallys of 3 top up. My opinion is that we are within bear open market now.the problem near e-waves is that you do not know the length of moves until after the certainty.
How can i know the trend of KLCI for the whole January 2008?
Answers: I don't know if we have the same security in view, but the security with that ticker symbol trades on the pink sheets and has seen no volume for whatever reason since December 4.
If the security is (KLCIX) the Kaufman large cap fund, check with Kaufman funds or narrow the three month chart that Yahoo! finance provides:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=KLCIX&t=...
If you meant KLIC; Kulicke & Soffa Industries Inc. (KLIC), do likewise

Is silver a good investment now?
Answers: YES! silver has Benn going up and eventually will be up there with gold. Buy it and even if it go's down buy more (ex. say you buy it at 30 buks a share and you buy 1000 and it goes down to 20 buy 1000 more because that lowers ur avg down to 25 buks a share which means when it hits 26 you already made 1 dollar a share. and silver is depleting quickly on earth. SO BUY BUY BUY
I buy about $300. dollars of silver ever month from bullion direct. I have been buying since about 2000 and remember only paying like $6.00 an ounce.
Silver is my plan for retirement.
