I'm a fan of Broadcom. I suggest they have a nice opportunity to expand and put up some hefty profits over the subsequent few years. I'd also look into Anadigics(anad). They are involved in the semiconductor nouns and I see them as a good buy at the moment.

Answers: One.

When you buy your first share you are a shareholder (owner) of that company. Of course, 1 vote per share means you are a little fish in a big pond, but it is a start!

If your question is meant to be how much money do you need to seriously think about buy individual stocks - most recommend at least $20,000 and more like $50,000.
