What the relevance of stock flea market or what is stock exchange?
In business peopleo talk around shares and stock exchange index. I understand that shares is a percentage of the appeal of a given company or parts of the total money that the compony runs (using comom and understandable words). But beside shares so frequent things are traded on stock exchange. On business TV news they use to show individuals trying to answer 3 or more phones at the same time and looking at flashing scream. I have be sitting with this for long time, and when I try simply to understand what is it I carry answers with expressions or teminolgy that I do not understand, I hope this time I'll capture a consise and understanble answer!!??Answers: It is not really as confusing as you think.
Stock marketplace and stock exchange is the same article.
e.g. NYSE, New York Stock Exchange... a place where investors trade stocks..
Now, don't verbs Stock Exchange with Stock souk index..
e.g. NYSE has heaps indexes...like
Dow Jones Industrial Average... it measures the gig of 30 largest US companies.. like IBM, Walmart... etc..
S&P 500.. is another index that mesures 500 companies that fits into the critera of SEC..Security and Exchange Commition...
and so on..
