Wht do u guys think abt bam stock?
Answers: It's a good stock but not for this particular time around.
I wouldn't buy it - if I have secured enough profit - will sell it. If I have lost more than 5% I would sell it.
Since its in real estate management - outlook is not great.. It's has very high sell off recently..
it's beta is 1.69 which indicates it will take more fall then market...
year to year quartelry profit growth is -62% ...
My recommendation HOLD on buying, sell if secured profits or lost more than 5% money already..
Financial Statements request for information?? for (JAVA)?
I need some back with this for my accounting class. For Sun Microsystems (JAVA)
- In the follow-up to the financial statements identify a note that refers to a prepayment or an accrual. (Identify the minute number and paraphrase the content within no more than 2 sentences).
What does this mean, and where/what is the easiest track to find in the proceedings to the financial statements a note that refers to a prepayment or an accrual?
I appreciate the minister to. Thank you!
Timothy
Answers: First, ask yourself what are prepayments...most commonly found example of prepayments are prepaid expenses and deferred revenue (paid by customer but service was not all the same performed or product not but delivered). Accruals come in a miscellany, such as Income Tax liability, Bonus accruals, Legal claims and contingencies, etc.
Look up the Form 10-Q ro 10-K for Sun Microsystems on www.sec.gov. Then do a dig out using ctrl + F for 'notes to' and you should come accross a heading 'Notes to financial statements'. They will be numbered 1, 2, etc. Ignore # 1 (its fairly quite life-size also). Read from # 2 on. Each footnote further elaborate on the information contained by the Income Statement (P&L) and Balance Sheet, in supplement to providing information not contained in the P&L and the Balance Sheet. When you come across a footnote that parley about prepaid expenses and an accrual such as income taxex, or Legal, you own what you are looking for.
