Which companies allow individuals to purchase Options (in the UK)?!?
its easy to find companies that proposal spread betting, CFD and plain old equities but what roughly options (possibly futures)? i search and cant find any that caters to individuals! any companies come into mind?!Answers: There is not much of the Traded Option business now. (LIFFE) As at hand was not much volume the prices on the peak were other indicative at best and non existent at worst. I am not sure how many companies own traded options. I come up with they are FTSE 100 cos. but not all of them. Also most brokers won't consent to you write options (uncovered)

Sites approaching yahoo finance normally have information nearly the larger cap companies such as trades made by board member, more detailed financial info, etc. but is there anyway to carry information like this on your own for small companies when sites dont hold info like this posted? can you contact the SEC and attain that type of info or anything like that?Answers: I work for an investment advisory firm and we use Bloomberg. It is a huge source for financial information. granted it does cost roughly speaking 1,200 per month but it has great information on adjectives stocks. Bloomberg gives you an entire computer, but other sites such as Morningstar.com can bequeath you other information, members are free in attendance but research can cost $$??/month. Also the websites of each company you are researching will hold info, for instance if you wanted to invest contained by Finish Line. check out.. finishline.com >investor relations (at the bottom) > they will have annual reports and company info- any publically traded company have to produce public finanacial statements. If you already know the stocks you want, this is the best way to attain company info.
