I work at Starbucks and I qualified for stock investments and I took advantage of it...
But I really don't comprehend it...

I purchased 4 stocks at $17.40
How would I go more or less selling them?

Market Value at Purchase $81.88
Accumulated Contributions $69.60
Gain $12.28


Answers: first why would you sell, I assume you hold not had them hugely long,
Capital gains taxes will chomp through up 15-30% of your $12.28
Forget you have them and look at them surrounded by about ten years.

These are yours has nil to do with Starbucks so if you quit they are still your stocks.
Yes, buy more! I work near Wal-Mart and I invest in our stock plan they contest 15 percent. I'm sure Starbucks will match a percent of what you invest also you should ask your representative about that.
