Does "Virgin Galactic" enjoy stock that you can purchase?

Does "Virgin Galactic", the company making the world's first commercial spaceship for passengers, enjoy stock you can purchase or is it a private company?

Answers: Virgin Galactic is owned by Virgin Group in the UK. Virgin Group is a privately owned company chair by Sir Richard Branson so there is no stock you can purchase. Branson did roll Virgin Group on the London Stock Exchange for a couple of years in the overdue Eighties, but subsequently took it private again. He has made noise about possibly information bank Virgin again, but there are no firm plans.

From time to time he does flog a stake in one of the Virgin companies or somewhat lists it. So you might find that if Virgin Galactic is massively successful over the next few years Branson decide to float a minority stake in London or New York.

It looks resembling the Virgin Group is a private firm.

Is the ETF "OIH" Still a Good Place To Invest?

OIH - Oil Service Holdrs
I've watched this point rise and rise in my Yahoo "mock stock" portfolio over the years and it a short time ago keeps rising. Even next to oil and gas prices individual where they are today, is this still a upright fund to be in?

Answers: It depends on your time horizon.

If you are investing for the long possession, such as 10 or 15 years. Then it is a good investment because grease is a diminishing resource. And one way or another in attendance is going to be a shortage of oil, which will possible drive up its price.

But in the short permanent status, OIH may loose some of its value due an financial recession and a declining price of grease associated with the recession.
