Answers: Hardly any. We are within what is known as a carry market. I suppose that the best performing stocks would hold to be the bear funds. SSG up 51% ytd. DCR up 33.4% SDK up 31.2% ytd. SDK up 31.3% ytd. Heck ytd consists of single 21 days so far. At the rate these are going by year end if the trend continues they will be up a couple of hundred percent.
The best piece to do right now is invest contained by the downside.

(If she were investing for a long period of time and was willing to accept some volatility, she should consider putting some money into no-load low-expense mutual funds. These are not guaranteed, but over the long run produce much higher returns.)
