From what I could meet from the website, POEMS does not support option trading contained by any market. For example, within the USA it says:
"What are the US market that I may trade in?
You may choose to trade shares down in American Stock Exchange (AMEX), NASDAQ or New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). "

It never mentions trading option or options exchanges such as the CBOE.

In the United States a warrant is essentially a call alternative with a severely long life (usually oodles years) between issue and expiry, traded on a stock exchange instead of an options exchange. I see no plea to believe it would be any different in Singapore.

Just because a short position does not have an expiration date does not mean that you can maintain that short position forever. For example, if the price of a stock goes up it will increase the margin required to maintain the short position. If the margin requirement exceeds the margin you have available you may have to cover at least part of the short stock position.

GM down 1.5bil within north america, stock trading?
gm is down 1.5bil in sale and are up 500m total. They have announced to try and buy personnel out to make job cuts in the fused states and in michigan alone. Does this have it in mind sell this short?GM stock is at 26.60, does this have it in mind its going below 25 on tuesday?
Answers: It depends - Buffett wants to buy out the hygienic part of bond funds, that will rock the marketplace more than GM.
BTW, GM is up over 10% for the year - whoo hoo!
