Answers: It's always real tough deciding where government ( TAX) money should be spent...wouldn't it be wiser to educate everyone in " personal finance" rather than funding painting murals on viaducts?...wouldn't it be more beneficial to give free health care to every kid in this country, rather than pay some " professor" an exhorbitant salary to have him put students in charge of teaching his classes ?...thus charging students ridiculous tuition ...
Sad to say, but government money is distributed by politicians...who try to appease as many voters as possible rather than vote on any program's merits, or rank programs by some sort of priority. ( Priority One is always : How do I get re-elected?)
it would be nice to see more art student scholarships and grants...it's a starving art at first. it's a shame so many like myself have had to give up on a career persuing their passion because they were too poor to even afford, a tin of hot chocolate to last 2 weeks, 3 packs of ramen noodles, a loaf of bread, and half a dozen eggs to last the week...even after work-study.as a full time student because of the cost of supplies, tuition, books, transit, housing, etc...for school
