As an investor, what would you look for in a company if you were going to invest in debt? how about equity?

Answers: Personally...

Look at the company's stock history. Was it all over the place or steadily rising (or falling)?

Invest in a company who is proven to be ahead of the game and who's stock constantly performs well. Don't buy stock in a company that has a press release and their stock skyrockets, then falls dramatically. Look for proven, steady and stable results. Apple is proven to be a good stock, although it does jump when Steve Jobs gives his keynote speeches, but it's proven to be a good stock to invest in as well as the fact that Apple Computer may be a little expensive, but they're a very good computer and they make computers that will last a very long time and that are ahead of their game on so many levels.

Anyway... look at the graphs... always up means GO... up and down means NO (sometimes).

Where do you expect Citigroup to bottom out?

Citigroup (C) is down today 7% and with the dividend cut it will be pliable a more reasonable 4.7% or so - Income funds may be dissapointed and may choose to drop C at indistinguishable time there is big money (foreign and local) out here ready to invest, but we still hold this housing slump so still expect further write-offs and less income within mortgage fees - what price do you expect to be the bottom, why, and when?

Answers: I think most of the blood is already surrounded by the street, trading at 26 and change I see downside at roughly 24-25.

Alot of the panic may be priced surrounded by as the CEO of Wachovia recently bought put money on 100,000 shares of WB and the NJ state pension fund is buying preferred shares of Citigroup and Merrill Lynch
