I am going to take a contrarian landscape, and say that at hand are quickly becoming some great opportunity in the US market. I am finding a lot of companies within immaculate financial position, beside a lot of growth potential trading at wide discounts to their fair utility. While they may underperform in the short residence, they will likely emerge as bazaar leaders when the economy recover. No one can answer that, we know history and we assume that the future will be similar, resourcefully China & India are hot at the moment but Maybe Tel Aviv or taipei will be better ?

Why does IBM have such a big impact on Wall St?
their great quarter boost the entire market today and I am wondering why?Answers: Here's some food for thought:
When a souk makes a big move, everyone other tries to think of a justification why, even though in masses cases these moves should be attributed to random price behavior or crowd psychology.
Today, IBM reported a righteous third quarter and the market go up.
Let's say subsequent quarter, IBM reports an even "greater, outstanding" fourth quarter. It's entirely likely the souk won't react at adjectives.
So there's two things going on here:
1) When the market react to news, it is commonly fickle and irrational in picking which report to react to
2) Financial reporters are remunerated to "generate" news, even though within many cases it is unjustified.
There enjoy been so tons negative announcements as of slowly that the market tend to grasp any positive news it can find. As IBM is one of the largest companies within the world, it is highly covered by journalists and it's results can be highly influencial on the overall bazaar. If we were to come across some unenthusiastic news from any key financial firm or the like, it is plausible that we would lose all of the gain we have see today.

That is pretty interesting; I suppose its because IBM is a well established company within the Tech sector, and good yield reports from a company that big at this point in time would receive investors feel for a moment better about the market.
Also, the market be bound for a comeback due to Bernanke's statements recently and because of the hammering it took adjectives last week.
