Does Quixtar really work?
Answers: My husband and I got into it, primarily for my husband. Quixtar is a joke to us. Everyone refers to it is as "the business" here but no one can really tell us what "the business" is. Brit World Wide, Quixtar, whatever! You spend too much money for few little products you get, THEN they STILL want you to SPEND several dollars EACH MONTH on products for your family. You spend at least $100+++ (depending of family size) just to get a few dollars back!? That never made sense to us and besides "your own website" that you go through to purchase things costs WAY too much when you can go to Wal-Mart, spend a little of your gas to get there and get the stuff you need is way cheaper!
There are too many middle men in Quixtar. For example, the team my husband was on had to (not required) pay his upline to order cd's/tapes and books each month, then he would pay his upline, then the upline ordered and disbursed the material down hill instead of ordering it directly for "the company". I never did find out where the stuff was being ordered from and we never once received a receipt on the stuff either.
There are so many other home based businesses you could get into that isn't a big headache.
I have my own home based business and when I sell a product to my customers, my profit is 50% of whatever is sold. I order products at 1/2 ($1) price directly from the company and sell for $2. Everything I have on hand is paid for, I just have to sell it which sells great! Commission is based off what my team does and my commission is never paid out of their profit. It's paid directly to me from the companies checking account. We are greatly rewarded for our successes and treated like royalty. I trust the company I'm in and never could understand anything about Quixtar, regardless of the countless meetings we went to.
My advice, research the company(ies) you are looking at and not only get the pro's but listen to a few con's. Try the products yourself before you make a decision. Don't listen to too many con's because you'll never get the full picture.
Yes, but as miss says, it takes hardwork and dedication. You also don't spend "hours on the phone trying to convince people". Curious Dave apparently didn't spend long researching it. Quixtar along with it's sister company Amway is one of the most successful retailing/internet businesses in world, with well over 6 billion dollars in sales. In 2006 alone there were over 840 new Platinums in North America (a platinum has an average income of around US$40,000, part-time), and 100s of folk who reached new levels higher than that. It works, there's no question about that. Whether it will work for you is a different questions, which primarily depends on whether you're willing to learn and put in the time and effort. Ask those who have done it though, and the great majority will tell you it is more than worth it.
