How much interest is gain on a Roth IRA?

Hi... I am 22 and I am thinking about starting a Roth IRA. I've be told that a Roth is better than a CD or a stash account, but i am wondering how much interest is gain annually on a Roth ( excluding the mutual funds and other options)

Answers: Yikes!! You are scaring me. Don't ever borrow on a Roth IRA. When you adapt jobs, not if you devolution because we know you Will, any loan Will become due and payable. At your age you should invest in stocks but mutual funds would be the best. They enjoy managers that survey your fund and make the decision for you. That is why they are paid the Big Bucks. If you come up with you are smarter than those fund managers give attention to again. Invest only surrounded by funds that have a track register of 10 years or more. Check with Vanguard or Morning star. Both are excellent funds that hold low expenses meaning the control costs are Less than one %. I have see many inhabitants both extremely wealthy or freshly reguler Joes and Josephines all of which are living paycheck to paycheck who pocket out loans on 401k's and can't pay them pay for.
If you want to buy a house it is now a buyer's marketplace and will only procure better if you are a buyer and worse if you are a seller. My son bought a house within Minneapolis with a $9,000.00 forgivable loan/downpayment. The neighborhood is shooting up every year and it is in a nice location. Check next to HUD, The interest is what you make it; S&P 500 averages 9 % per year.Learn the Rule of 72: Divide 72 by the interest rate and it will narrate you how long it take to double your investment. So a return of 8% will double your investment every 9 years. Of course you won't return with 8% every year as some returns will be less than 8 % and some will be more. Check out www.DaveRamsey.com. He have made me enough money to retire at 55.
it depends on how/'where' you invest it

"better" is a loaded occupancy. A Roth is not near as 'liquid' as a funds account

A standard IRA might be better than a Roth. "Your mileage may vary" but if your retirement income is within a lower tax bracket than your earn income, a Roth is not the best option.

Ask your financial counsellor why this is ... if they don't explain it clearly, get a different advisor.

this is realness of mathematics and accounting

Next year sales increase 25% to: 30,625,000 thus AP should be:
