Answers: OTC stocks are simply the stocks you find on NASDAQ. They have 4 parcels for their symbol. e.g. GOOG - G00GLE, INTC - Intel, WOOF - VCA Antech, BOOM - Dynamic Materials .

Smaller companies not approved for NASDAQ are found on the OTC bulletion Board or Pink Sheets. these tend to be riskier than their larger OTC cousins. However OTC stocks in standard are NOT any riskier than NYSE or Amex in broad.

OTC stocks are traded in a "negotiated" souk while NYSE and Amex stocks trade in an "auction" marketplace on a trading floor.

www.nasdaq.com is the site to find all of your choices.

Good Luck
OTC stocks are not timetabled on the exchanges...Nasdaq, NYSE, AMEX. Also called BB or bulletin board stocks. Go to this site for a huge detail of otc.bb stocks...
